I spent there New Years Eve with my friends. I strongly recommend an apartment Palace, there are two floors, two clean bathrooms, kitchen fully equipped, with dishwasher, large living room with TV, beautiful view from the balcony, free Wi-fi. The owner was very kind. The distance to the nearest restaurant or station is short. Good connection to Lomnica or Štrbské pleso. I recommend this Villa to young people as well as to families with kids.

Clean, comfortable and good price

The apartament was really big, comfortable and well equipped. In basement comfortable storage for skis or snowbords with boots dryer. Good place especially  for children learning to ski.  Nice owner. We recomend this place.

I strongly recommend this place for mountains lovers.

Surely will be back when visiting High Tatras again!

The Villa is new, nicely furnished, complete kitchen and come with a very comfortable bed, very clean too. 100m away from Novy Smokovec electric train station, but beware, this staton do not have ticket selling facility, nearby Stary Smokovec station is with complete facility and is within walking distant too.
The owner is very friendly, speak little English, but with the help of Google translater, things can get by without much problem

Nice and cosy

I booked this apartment more than 6 weeks before my arrival date via one of the major room booking websites and received a booking confirmation shortly after. The price and apartment type I reserved for was clearly stated in the confirmation. As an additional assurance, I wrote to the apartment email address directly shortly after to verify that they indeed have the details of my booking. I received an acknowledgement email from the apartment itself which stated that a 1st floor apartment with balcony is reserved for me. 

BUT, a couple of weeks before my check-in, the owner wrote to me again to say that the supposedly reserved apartment with balcony for me is now SOLD OUT and that the price I opted for in the booking website is not a unit with balcony (this is CONTRARY to what the booking website states and what he agreed upon in his email earlier). The reservation is now confirmed for a ground floor unit without balcony. As time was running out for me to search again for another apartment, I could only accept whatever was left even though I have emails from both parties earlier that confirmed my specific booking type.

My immediate impression is that he is untrustworthy and does not care about his reputation or building good customer relationship. He changes his mind about prices and room type at his whims (despite an earlier written confirmation!) and will offer the apartment to anyone who pays more even though he had already committed the same apartment earlier on to someone else. This is terrible business practice and eventually his attitude will drive away customers.

My final words are : book this apartment only if you leave everything to luck and do not care about reliability or commitment.
