This hotel should not be named a hotel it should be called a brothel. It is the most disgusting experience I’ve had at a hotel in my life. They use this ‘hotel’ to rent rooms for a few hours a day so people can go and have sex in them. The room we stayed in was not clean and smelled of smoke. We asked for something better but they said every room was the same. All throughout the day and night we heard people having sex. We asked for a refund as we were not told what type of hotel we were signing up for and we wanted to leave a day prior to our original departure date. They laughed at us and said NO! This was the most expensive hotel I’ve stayed at over the last month and truly a recasting experience. This hotel should be listed as what it is, a sex house:even the sign out front said you can rent rooms for an hour or so with a maximum of 6 hours. Don’t waste your money!

The worst hotel expire ever had in 30 years

First, they have the wrong address on their confirmation, so the taxi could not find it. This is because they have two hotels and you have to go to the first one to check in. They don't tell you this. That is also where the extremely horrible breakfast is located. Our first room, 504, was so small it barely fit us and our luggage. AC didn't work and toilet backed up. Maintenance called but never came. The next day we asked to move to a larger room. For an extra $25 we got a double bed and a single. That gave us more room and working ac and toilet. But it was obvious that the place is not maintained. Towel racks broken and not fixed. It is obvious the owner is not interested in doing more than running the place into the ground. It does not look like the pictures. Room not cleaned every day. Even with the larger room, it was still too small for two people and the bed was so bad, that I could barely move each day. It ruined our trip. Just don't stay here.

Run from this place

I stayed in Seoul Jongno Hostel with my mother. The hostel location is strategic, near dongdaemun, insadong, and myeondong. It also only take about 5-6 minutes to the nearest subway station. The owner and the employees are super kind and helpful to us. They also offered us to join bbq party on the rooftop with other guesses. Their friendliness and kindness leave such a good and unforgettable experience for us. Oh, there is also convenient store accross the hostel. If I go to Seoul again, I'm not hesitate to stay in this hostel again.

Very good service, feels like home

"You might get what your pay for, if you're lucky" should be their motto. But actually, you get much less than what you pay for.

It's filthy, the sheets had stains and hairs, their concept of private bathroom with shower is a joke and it is one of the worst hostels i've ever been.

Never again.

The only good thing about this place is the location. But find a better place. Even the "free wifi" is spotty as best.

Suggestion to management: CLEAN YOUR ROOMS. I doubt your home is filthy like your hotel. Have a strand of decency.

I stayed in many budget ho(s)tels across south korea ,but this one need to be flagged appropriately.

We are a family of 4 with big luggages ,consists of two elderly who cant stand winter and prefer functionality instead of luxury.Our first 1hour in the hotel made us finally decided to checkout from this place,and shorten our supposed to be 7nights stay into just one night.

Please read carefully before you decide to stay here.

+ Location is really close to Iksun-Dong.Lots of cafes and instagrammable restaurants plus convenience store.
+ if you're a moslem,there's one restaurant which offer halal food.
+ the checkin process is quick.no hassle and can even store our luggage
+ lots of coupons offer
+wifi available

And these are the minuses
-I speak,read and understand korean and struggle to tell the taxi driver to find the location. Please be aware of this.

-The room was incredibly cold!we set the heater back and forth and still feel cold afterwards.
-No toiletries available,only 4 small towels.
-There's kettle to make tea,but they gave us a paper cup and no bottle to store water.They do provide water dispenser at first floor. Please bring your own water bottle.
Bed linens and duvets are old and not clean with stains
The room is cramped
We booked for city view room.the only view we got is our next building's wall(see picture).
There's no place to hang towels and clothes in the shower room.
The TV Keeps on turning off by itself every several minutes.
-you will always need to call for the front desk,no one standby.

One of the staff is rude.I asked for possibility to shorten our stay because of the heater issue.She offered the maintenance guy to check it,I asked to talk with the manager(which apparantly stayed at the next building). She asked me to go out to the building and meet him directly. After I got back to my room to wait for maintenance,she called back and the first thing she said :'Miss,do you wanna checkout?I'm with my manager now' .this is a totally unacceptable behavior for hospitality employee. I was supposed to wait the maintenance guy to check the heater and give my decision if the heater is still not working adter.But after she said that,I reg flagged this ho(s)tel. I checked the review once again and also surprised with some of management's reply. Please kindly scroll down for those in case you think I over-exaggerated this.

We booked for the price of 30k per nights and the cancellation charged as 2nights which was okay.But I was surprised they charged us a 50k per night for cAncellation. 

This place might be a good place for young people with very tight budget.I dont recommend family to stay here.

In the end,we moved to a better hotel and paid tripled .Just because we choose to stay in budget ho(s)tel doesnt mean we cant afford luxurious one.
