I stayed here when I was in Seoul last month. It is located in myeongdong shopping area but the location is not easy to be found. I’m fine with the room, air con works well, shower is ok too & wifi is good. I just a bit disappointed that they don’t clean the room. They have a signage in the lobby stated that we should ask the staff if we want them to clean the room. Then I asked the staff to clean my room, but all they did only provide clean towel, but not mopping the floor. Hope they can fix this cleaning service.

Small room, average service

Back in 2015 we stayed in KPOP Residence Chungmuro and WE LOVED IT, so I did not think twice booking this one in Myeongdong but it obviously needs some serious maintenance and cleaning. 

 Location is the best! Love it! Right at the heart of Myeongdong indeed. 
The famous Myeongdong street is right next to it.  
"Myeongdong station,
Exit 8, 
To the right of Olive Young, go all the way straight on that street, 
Stop where you see a shop named ABOUT ME  and turn right, look up and you'll see this property."

No early check-ins allowed (which we were allowed before in Chungmuro)
Guy staff was very helpful & accommodating, girl staff was pretty cold and would keep looking at the computer instead of you in the eye.

CLEANLINESS is very poor. 
You will know when when you enter a room and it is clean. This place is not.
Dust everywhere. Room 502 literally has water dripping from the ceiling perhaps because of the aircon, you'd see watermarks all over the place. 

We got 2 beds and 1 pull out bed, 
You can't get the whole size of the pull out bed without hitting the wall next to the toilet, so we chose to take it out completely and place it at the bottom of the 2 beds and the amount of dust we found is like when you have not cleaned a room in a while and the wifi also wasn't working in our room, that's our DAY 1.

Day 2 breakfast time, we informed the reception about the wifi and water situation and the guy said he will check. He apologized that we can't transfer to another room as there's none available at the moment. We asked for some rags to replace the current ones which were already soaked and he offered the towels which i assume what they give the guest if they request one. When we came back at night, the new towels that i've put are already soaked and the wifi still wasn't working.

Day 3, I was patient and understanding but when the water got to my things, it has become unacceptable. It got to my jacket, i was so mad. The girl found another room available and moved us (402). Wifi was working there, and no more water dripping from the ceiling but same dust and unclean feeling all over the room.

We kinda looked forward to check out time

The place just needs a thorough cleaning and repair and it would all be good, and even great, given the location.

Hope the manager/owner takes that advise.

GREAT LOCATION. DIRTY ROOMS. MAJOR MAINTENANCE NEEDED.

This hotel is in the center of Myeong-Dong which was great, but other than that that's it. The room was small like we expected.

Also, I am aware that the staff goes home at 10 PM. I notified them via Agoda and 2 emails that we will be arriving at 11 PM, NO REPLY. We got there we were locked out, just waiting. We even asked people outside to borrow their phone and call the hotel, no answer. Luckily there was another guest that was going to enter so we went in with her and just luckily spotted an envelope on the counter with my name and the key inside.

Talked to the receptionist the next day who was NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL (DURING OUR WHOLE STAY) and claimed she left a paper on the door for the code. Yes, maybe we didn't see it but a reply to the email would have been good.

Room is tolerable, RECEPTIONIST VERY UNFRIENDLY but good location. If you're just looking for a place to sleep like we were then this is for you.

Just a Place to Sleep-That's It

When we booked a room in this hotel we were definitely expecting something bigger. It was 3 of us and the room was tiny. On the other side everything was clean and the position is perfect. 2 minutes walk to the city centre and busies parts of Seoul. Breakfast is usualy included but don't expect anything special. Toast with butter and jam and coffee. 

Right in a city centre

Great location in the heart of very popular Myeongdong. I had a single room accommodation with a queen size bed... other amenities like large storage closets with hangers, television, wifi, bathroom etc. 
Clean sheets and towels with extras available if you need it. Helpful staff available whenever you need assistance.
