I love it here! Definitely going to come back again. It is very close to Myeongdong, Hohyeon subway station and CU mart,7-11. The price per night is affordable and the room is quite great. They have hot water in the shower. I travel to South Korea for 10 days, and this guesthouse has washing machine so that’s a big plus point. They also provide breakfast. They have a kitchen so you can hang out there to eat. There’s CU mart right in front of the hotel, so if you are hungry in the middle of the night, just walk to the mart. Right outside the hotel, you can see Namsan Tower which is very beautiful at night.

Amazing guesthouse

This guesthouse was very convenient. It was near the subway station and it was also close to the tourist attractions.

We got to the guesthouse from Incheon International airport thru the subway. It was near Hoehyeon station or Namdaemun Market.

Our room was in the 4th floor - it was honestly tiresome to go up or down but most guesthouses in Seoul have no elevators. The room was a bunk room for 2. It had a working TV, wifi, aircon, floor heater, hair dryer and refridgerator. It also had a spacious bathroom (toilet and hot shower) of its own. We didn't use the aircon a lot since it was almost winter. 

The guesthouse also provided free DIY breakfast which was also very thoughtful. You can also inquire on the front desk regarding tours or wifi.

Relaxed stay during my first trip to Korea

It was my first time to stay in this guesthouse. It's very easy to go there if you are from Seoul Station. Just take the subway to Heohyeon station (next station from Seoul) then from there you can walk 5 minutes to New Sun Guesthouse.
It was near at the Namdaemun market and there are many restaurants, convenience store, 7/11 nearby. This is also near at Namsan Park and N Seoul Tower just 10-15 minutes walk to the cable car station. When I arrived there, there were no people at the reception but I saw my name attached at the room key. So, i get the key and went to my room at the 2nd floor directly and no reception also upon checked-out. I put my key at the counter and went The room was not so big but they have spacious bed. They have free breakfast (American style) from 6am to 11am. They provided toiletries, water, juice and they even have housekeeping daily. 

Good stay

This is truly value for money. Rooms were clean and nice. They have a kitchen where you can eat and do the laundry. Part-time staff was nice and very accommodating even if they find difficulty in communicating in English. I highly suggest this budget friendly place.

Value for money

It is located fairly close to the Hoehyeon train station and bus stop, which is useful for getting around the city. If you are comming from the main road keep an eye out for the sign on the side of the building, the main sign is hard to see from side on. It also has quite a lot of food places nearby and it is walking distance to the Myeongdong Market and the Seoul Station which has an outlet mall as well as a Lotte Mart.
We had the bunk room with a private bath and the room itself was quite small. it was however, well heated. The bathroom was ok but the shower was over the sink. They do check toiletries if you have the sign on the door but we ran out of toilet paper. It was quite difficult to get in contact with them after hours. Fortunately, it was only for a night since we were heading out the next day.
Surprisingly they had free breakfast, which included toast and cup noodles.
This place is well priced and has a really good location so it a nice place to stay.

Great Location

The accommodation is near Hoehyeon station surrounded with enough food places. It's also a 10min walk to Myeongdong and 5min walk to Namdaemun market. The room is spacious as I was able to spread my whole luggage on the floor without any problem. The bathroom is spacious as well. They provided all the basic amenities that you might need while staying there (ie. shampoo, conditioner, small soap, hair dryer, towels). A plus is the free breakfast consists of cereals, bread, coffee and tea and free water to all the guests staying here. You can purchase tickets on the front desk and they're more than willing to help you out with your day to day activity. The neighborhood is quiet and safe at night

More than what I expect

Booked this guesthouse a few weeks before our trip so Im not sure if we got the best price, but it's cheap compared to other available guesthouse/hostel.

1. The receptionist is accommodating and answers our questions before the trip promptly
2. Guesthouse is about 10min walk to Chungmuro station
3. There are selection of convenience stores and restaurants nearby

❌❌
1. The heater is not enough to warm the room specially on cold nights
2. No bath mat 
3. The guesthouse doesn't have elevator

Average Guesthouse

GOOD:
- The place was very accessible to Myeongdong Area. Its just few walks to
Chungmuro Station (Both part of LINE 3 and LINE 4). So you’ll never get lost :)

-the kitchen area is very well maintained and they always refills bread, asstd coffee/tea esp before breakfast

-place is clean, trash are always collected regularly

BAD:
-their double deck bed mattresses are hard - not convenient to sleep somehow, and its better they can provide extra pillows and not just one pillow  for each bed. 

-too little space for 2 double deck inside the room, thats why movements inside the room are minimal. 

-too little/small bathroom/restroom, you need to Watch the shower sprinkler bec water might come out at the door slip. 

-No room placemat, so we needed to place a towel at the bathroom door so i wonder if those towers we used by other guess with the same purpose .  :( 
 
-surrounding area / just outside the place is a mess / poorly maintained , sometimes it smells . 

-the guy staff wit dangling earings sounded unprofessional in each conversation we have wit him, he even knock our room telling my Mom that we need to leave the hotel already bec our checkout time already passed by. Without him looking / checking his system that we extended our stay for another night.
