A decent guesthouse for those who are looking for affordable place to stay in Seoul. I stayed for 8 nights, and it was during winter season. It was true what others said about the owner/host, Mr. Kim. 

He’s very helpful to me and my mum from the day we arrived. We’ve 2 large luggage bags with us and he noticed that I was carrying the bag all the way up to the guesthouse front door (there are about more than 10 steps of stairs to get up to the guesthouse from the roadside), so he asked to help and carry the bags.

After we checked in, he was very concerned about our room temperature since it was quite cold, and explained about the heater facilities available in the room. Which helped to keep us warm every night. Not to forget, he provided me a set of adapter for my phone chargers, extra <3.

Always greeting us everytime we passed by the reception and check if we’re adapting to the cold or not. Gave us yogurt drinks and some mandarin oranges!

Room size: Fits just nice for 2 people with at least 2 large luggage + 1 small/medium luggage. Equipped with a fridge, a tv, a hair dryer and small face towels that can be used as body towel to me haha! 

Bathroom condition: Also good enough for a guesthouse, soap and shampoo provided. Both room and bathroom are cleaned after, every day.

Food/drinks: Coffee, tea, plain water are provided. There’s also microwave. There a few food stores nearby, like Paris Baguette, Subway and Starbucks for a quick grab.

Attraction: Agriculture Museum is situated just about 3 mins walk from the guesthouse.

Train/Subway: Nearby to Seodaemun subway station, you can get to the tourist attractions like Myeongdong, Namdaemun and City Tour @ Gwanghwamun station easily.

Taxi: I took a lot of taxi rides to and fro Myeongdong from Motel B, costs about 5,000-6000 won depends on the traffic.

Anyway, I felt sad on the last day of leaving the place as Mr Kim was very nice to us, called the cheapest taxi for us and helped to carry all our luggage all the way down to the taxi when we’re leaving to the airport. And even waited for us to passed by the roadside while waving T__T God bless you Mr. Kim Jae Man!

A Heaven for Backpackers!

I was traveling back to Daejeon, and got stranded in Seoul. After trying numerous places with no luck, I called Motel B at almost 11pm. The service is amazing and the room safe and clean! Very welcoming! 

Amazing Service

Located near city centre of Seoul Motel B will provide all amenities for people looking for affordable and cheap hotel in Seoul.
Even though price is cheap compared to expensive city of Seoul, one will get everything you need for short or long tour in terms of basic facilities.
Owner and his wife are very friendly and courteous.
Good for person like me who is on quick tour and affordable place.


Superb motel with friendly owner

Good location. Staff very friendly. Gave us some snacks after we left. Reasonable price as well. The room is small but it has what you need. Walking distance from Seodaemun Station, Exit 5. I would go again if the situation ask for it.

Motel-B

First time in Seoul and first hotel we booked: great welcome, great room and great location from line 5 Subway Seodaemun. Everything very convenient. 
We spent 4 nights visiting most of Seoul attractions.
One Nanta theater is 10 minutes walking distance. 
The owner of the hotel is amazingly nice and helpful with everything you need.
In the room you will find hairdresser, toothpaste, everything for a good shower, a perfect wifi connection, a PC and TV.
Coffee and tea available at reception for free.
We loved Seoul so if you need any advice, i will be happy to help you!
