The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the express bus terminal, and also relatively close to the beach. The front of the hotel is quite traditional and all the signs are in Korean, so we missed the hotel to begin with. Our room was clean and spacious. There was a wide screen TV, fridge and computer. The bed was quite firm but still comfortable and I got a good night's sleep as the room was quiet. The bathroom was a wet room with a high tec toilet but very small thin towels. As Sokcho hotels seem quite expensive, this seemed value for money.

Traditional hotel in a convenient location

Room was conformable and clean. Hotel was quiet and service was friendly. Negative: my room was incredibly smoky when I first entered after checking in. Didn't know if there were non-smoking options but that would have been nice to be able to choose. Opened window and explored Sokcho and came back and my room was fine. It might be worth asking if non-smoking rooms are avaliable if you have a problem with cigarette smoke. 

Other than that, it had everything we needed. It was off beach season, so the town as a whole was fairly quiet. Ran into a nice festival downtown. This hotel is in a convenient location for the beaches and the downtown area, and is fairly close to the Expo Tower, which is Pokémon central in Sokcho. It's worth getting out and exploring

Good location

No heating, freezing cold, no shower curtain on shower, no wifi, computer but broken keyboard. Livid. Felt bad because an elderly couple ran this motel but still their children probably helped them put up advertising on the internet for them and its very deceiving. Very sorry but it was not a good experience.

This place is a jail cell

I booked a room on March 1st, two months before my trip, only to be told two days before that they could not honour this reservation. This is absolutely disgraceful!
Thank you for ruining my vacation!
