The bungalow is situated right next to one of the entrances to the natural park, with magnificent cliffs, hiking trails, and views of the surrounding mountains. It is also above the white village (Alcaucín), a place with a lively atmosphere, occasional concerts and cultural events, and places that serve very good traditional food. The hosts of the bungalow are incredibly helpful and available, and they shared all the information necessary for me to profit to the most from my stay.

Relaxing and sunny place to stay

A warm welcome awaits at this wonderful family run restaurant set in the national park close to cascading waterfall.
Delicious traditional food served at reasonable prices.
The location is easily accessible and is great as a base camp being safe for kids ,walking and a chance to see red squirrels.Its natural setting is beautiful at anytime of the year and it's owners are knowledgable and caring .

Great traditional food

First I want to say that Raul and Eva are excellent and very helpful people!
The apartment is located in an awesome spot at the beginning of the Natural Park Sierra Tejeta with at view on a valley of Alcaucin just 20 meters walking from the house.
You can smell the sweetness of mountains up there and hear the silence and the night's breeze blowing. 
The apartment has a first floor whit sofa, table, terrace and fireplace. 
Downstair you'll find a living room with a corner kitchen, 2 bedroom and bathroom. 
Wifi work well.
It isn't of course a fancy place but you are in a mountains not in a metropoli, and you'll have everything you need for spent a good time in this beautiful area of Spain.
There are many walking/cycling tour that you can do from there trough the natural park, or to get in the town; and if you get hungry you can eat something at the "Cortijo de Alcazar Restaurant" (also managed from Raul and Eva), 2 km from the apartment.
So, if you are a nature lover and you would like spent a few days or a weekend surrounded by green, eating good traditional this is the right place for you.

Vista espectacular, lugar perfecto por relajarse

What a lovely stay. The bungalows are fully equipped from washing machine to games for the family, two bedrooms nice large room for mum and dad, then one room with two single beds for the kids, it was stunning to watch the sun set from the balcony. Look over local towns in the valleys. It's situated perfectly, just tucked up from the local town on the hillside so you can get your groceries in the valley, and you can go for walks in the natural park which is literally just around the corner. Incredible two nights. If your looking for a place just to chill out with friends and family in the middle of nature than this is such a special place to do so. 

A little paradise up in the mountains 

Had to come vere late here due an emergency have to move from another hotel facility to here. Great service !! Definitely recommended. The bungalow is equipped with all amenities. The only" downside "we have experienced is the wild dogs you ' hear barking at night, but that is of course not due to the bungalow but to the fact that those animals just roam freely throughout Spain! It's a great place!!
