Had a very short stay of one night only but I slept comfortably, the owner was really helpful and the room had airco and the bed was comfortable,the room was clean, and the room was relatively quiet I don't know what else could someone wish for , giving it 5 out of 5 not because its the most fantastic place ever, but because the price / quality is spot on and the place comfortable for the short stay I had planned

Stayed for 1 night only, but I really enjoyed it, will return!

We booked over the phone 3 weeks in advance as online didn't allow us to specify twin or double room - all fine and we're told it's confirmed. Turn up at 6pm and the owner lets us in in his pyjamas and tries to put us in a double bed. We say we specifically requested a twin and he gets annoyed, yelling in Spanish and roping another guest in to the conversation. We ask to speak to his son, with whom we made the booking, who shows us the double-room booking...which is not in our name. 

He then claims we don't have a booking at all and he never spoke to us (despite showing phone logs and initially remembering us.) Starts yelling at us to get out and then changes his mind and says he will cancel the other person's booking and we can stay in that room. When we question that, he changes his mind again and tells us to leave (on a Friday night of a bank holiday weekend when everything is booked.) It was very clear he had double-booked the room via phone and internet but wouldn't admit it. The only good thing was that the cleaner was very helpful and did try (unsuccessfully) to solve the problem and find us space at another hostel - the owner and son were incredibly rude throughout, and utterly incompetent if they can't even manage five rooms.

We eventually found a hotel with space and left as quickly as we could. Even if you do reserve here please keep a couple of things in mind:
1) They were willing to cancel someone's booking with no warning and leave them high and dry.
2) The owner opened all the rooms to show us they were occupied, and then disappeared into the back leaving us next to people's personal belongings so there is ZERO security!
3) When we asked the owner about the advertised parking, he said there wasn't any.

Overall, a very unpleasant experience and I am utterly disgusted by the lack of management, security or even an apology!
