We began searching for accommodation near Huesca around 9pm, as we had driven from Mojacar in Almeria and had been on the road for over 10 hours. Without much success we were almost resigned to a night in the car. We arrived in Villanua in the dark and saw the lights on at the Lacasa Hotel, crossing our fingers as we rang the bell (It was now 11:15pm). The door was opened by the owner Mariano and with a beaming smile he invited us in and showed us to our room and as we were thirsty he re-opened the bar and we quenched our thirst. The room was absolutely spotless as was the rest of the hotel and we slept like logs until 10am the following morning. On opening the curtains we were met with a fantastic view of the Pyrenees. Went downstairs and capped it all off with a wonderful breakfast. Oh how over the moon we were that we hadn't managed to find any other accommodation en-route. Could not have wished for a better hotel.

2 Stars well deserving more, we consider ourselves lucky to have stumbled upon this Hotel. Mariano and his wife made us very welcome.(He also has a command of the English language) which may prove useful for some travellers.The accommodation was immaculate very clean and of a good size, the furniture was of a traditional Spanish design. We had dinner and breakfast which although traditionally Spanish was well cooked and well presented.All rooms have a balcony from which to enjoy the mountain views. We shall see you next time Mariano. Hasta Luego.

2 Stars well deserving more

Clean little hotel just off the highway, which was perfect for a nights stay as we were passing through. The hotel is clean, the owner is friendly and the food at the restaurant is fresh and tasty. We were lucky enough to pass through on a night where the hotel owner and a friend were playing guitar in the restaurant, which was beautiful and lively to hear.

Clean and Friendly Family Owned Hotel

We overnighted here on our way back to UK from our holiday home near Gandia. Lacasa is ideally situated, being on the N330/E7(so no need for the satnav) and close to Canfranc if you have sufficient time to have a look at its famous station used in the film Dr Zhivago. The hotel owner Mariano is a fantastic host, very musical and on the evening of our stay, was very happy to entertain his guests with his guitar and accordion playing. The hotel is very clean with good size rooms and comfortable beds. Pets are welcome. Food was very good and reasonably priced (which in Spain means cheap). Nice views from the balcony and easy parking in front of the hotel. We would definitely stay here again.

Great overnight stop

The owner was very nice and helpful, prepared a lovely meal when the restaurant was closed.
The views from the bedroom balcony were absolutely stunning.
We were made very welcome and would recommend this hotel.
