My girlfriend and i stayed here for 5 nights and it honestly exceeded our expectations! wow, the rooms are great quality and way more than we ever expected! however, we booked a private room but unfortunately our bathroom was quite a walk away from our room (we had our own private bathroom, which was peculiar to not have close to our own room. 

regardless of this, our stay was delightful and the hostel is ideally placed! a great place to stay and would definitely recommend it!

Amazing room in an amazing place

The window in the room is small and there is no tv but at this price for me its not a problem at all. Everything is well organized, new furniture, cozy bed and small kitchen if you would like to cook something, but from my experience as a tourist you mostly eat out. Location is great as well. Across the streat you have a big supermarket with normal prices (not like in these little ones on every corne) and it is only 3 minutes on foot from playa de Espanya (which is one of the main stations for all the metros and buses). All in all great experience and would definetely come back. 

Great location and very cozy

I was really surprised good location by Spanish Square easy to get metro to all sights- hop on bus also goes from here. We had our own room in hostel which was clean only thing is very thin walls and noisy so take ear plugs. I would stay here again if on budget- helpful staff, supermarket opposite and lots coffee shops for breakfast near by.

Birthday sightseeing trip

(+) Very good location, close to the metro and lots of bus lines. The bedroom I stayed in had air con. The room had a private bathroom, though it was tiny and located on the other side of the corridor. 

(-) The double bedroom I stayed in was very basic and tiny with a small window. Being in Barcelona mid June, it was extremely hot at night (I didn't want to sleep with air con on). The private bathroom was located on the other side of the corridor and was very small as well, with hardly any ventilation, so as soon as I stepped out of the shower, I was sweaty again. There's no communal space and the kitchen is very small, as well. Make sure you bring earplugs as the street is a bit noisy, thought I believe that's the case anywhere near central Barcelona. Overall, the place is very very basic and the only thing that saves it is the location.

Good location but a very basic place

We have booked 4 beds for only one night but at that night, we saw a spirit of a little boy. We were so scared that we’ve packed our stuffs and go look for another place to stay right in the middle of the night. That was a horrible experience for us at Barcelona.

Horrible 

Thought i had made a provisional booking for early July.When my plans changed and I cancelled over a month in advance they hit me with 50% of total bill-126 euro.I explained my situation to them.They were only interested in fineprint.So be careful when you book with this lot..They will never see me again.

OPPORTUNISTIC

I accidentally arrived 1 day late for a 4 day stay. Booking.com did not pass on my message sent at lunchtime. My room was resold but they refused to refund. Leaving us in Barcelona with no money except just enough for a backpacker hostel. I was only late because of a scan appointment for the cancer which they found I had so I was very jittery and unwell anyway. Eventually they did agree to give us our room on the 4th day because that was not re-sold. The room was nice and clean but we were clearly robbed of more than 100 euros for the two days we were there and had paid. We didn't expect to be refunded for the no-show night of course.  The receptionists hands were tied by the owner so although she was curt at first I believe she was trained to be that way. In the end she was as helpful as she could be. It just wasn't enough to take away the injustice.
