The hotel's location is excellent. The spacious room with a terrace with beautiful views. The very professional and attentive staff, especially Cristian, the guy at the reception who facilitated our stay at all times. We will be back very soon!

Fantastic experience :)

Stayed two nights half board. Great value. The breakfast is comprehensive and the evening meal choices are very good. 
Very little English spoken by anyone. Do your trip and walk research before hand as nobody can help you. We went for a 5 hour walk up the river to the power dam. The views are magnificent. You can drive about 20 minutes from the hotel. Parking is free. Take loads of water and swim wear.
Lunch at hotel, try the burger. Bar is good and coffee is excellent. Staff very friendly. I would visit in the week. Avoid kids in the pool and a lot less walkers on the various tracks. This area is like nowhere else in Spain. Stunning. Hardly any tourists, everyone is Spanish. Real treat.

Great location and excellent food

Visited for two nights back in April, the journey to get to the place has some stunning views and you're only a stones throw away from a quaint village. The moment you pull up your breath is taken away - the hotel and its surroundings are beautiful. Inside, the staff are friendly and courteous. The rooms are spacious and clean. The spa is luxurious with a very special view! It was surprisingly quiet around the hotel although I guess we weren't in peak season. Would definitely recommend.

Certainly didn't disappoint

This hotel has the lot, views, Vista's, cafe/bar, restaurant, spa, outside pool and set in a tranquil location surrounded by the scenery of the park, look out for the local wildlife either up high riding the thermals or the local foxes who great you as you leave the restaurant at night.

Mountain retreat 

This hotel is perfectly situated for walking in the Cazorla national park. Our room was very comfortable with mountain views. We opted for half board. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and varied. The evening meal was area typical with a good selection of delicious dishes. As a hunting themed hotel meat and fish are always the main course choices ( you would have to chech up about veggi options). The staff changed the dinner start time to 8.30pm rather than 9pm as this suited us better. We had a fabulous stay.

Walking trip

This is a review of the grounds and restaurant only. We ordered the octopus and the scallops with eggplant. Both were excellent and perfectly prepared. Gorgeous presentation. Would not order the mushrooms again, just not as good as other 2 dishes.  For dessert we got the creme brulee, definitely passable but not mind blowing. Ambience was great. Grounds couldve been better maintained, could see quite a bit of trash strewn around from the main pathway.  Didnt stay here so no comment regarding rooms etc.

This is a good hotel in a beautiful setting, surrounded by silence and green mountains. It´s a new establishment, but everything has been built to look traditional and related to the area. Rooms have a regular size, nicely decorated in a vintage style, with comfortable beds. Everything is clean. One strong point was the wide deck overlooking trees and mountains. As far as I know, cars are parked in the vast open space just at the entrance. My rate didn´t include access to the spa, so I had to pay extra. That entitles you for staying there for two hours. That´s enough, the spa isn´t  not particulary big, but it´s quite complete, everything works OK, jets are strong and the water is hot. Very friendly staff at reception.

Good hotel in the country.

From England and in a rental car. Looked very impressive on arrival but I suspect the hotel struggles. The main restaurant was also impressive and good for evening meals. However, shoddy management of breakfasts with time saving paper table cloths and insignificant staff service. In fact we decided to go without breakfast on the 2nd and 3rd days, This is most unusual for us. Our bedroom and bathroom were OK but looking tired and major renovation really needed for today's standards.

On the face of it should be a 5*. However even with the fantastic views and swimming pool lacked personality.

Lovely hotel in the mountains. Stayed for 3 nights in early July. Hotel was surprisingly quiet, only saw a few other guests. The hotel restaurant was very nice with very nice local food and wine. Very little English spoken. The breakfast could be better. Our room was very small, think it was a standard double, but it was clean and warm.

One thing for management to note - they have a small paddle tennis court which we played on. Unfortunately there were quite a few dead birds on the court, which I believe is because the high sides of the court are made out of clear plastic, and the birds don't realise its plastic, fly into it and die. In the middle of the mountains where there are so many birds, you need to put some stickers on the clear plastic so they don't fly into it.

Good base

We stayed two nights and enjoyed our stay. The rooms are comfortable and the public rooms are attractive together with quiet and efficient service. The grounds are extensive and cater well for outdoor relaxation and dining. In the winter the hotel takes on an alpine feeling with woodsmoke, sunshine an coolish temperatures.
