This hotel was quite lovely.  Spotlessly clean and quiet.  It is very close to the Main Street and restaurants.  Nothing to eat or drink at the hotel and I left before breakfast so I can't comment on that.  I don't believe there is a/c so just check ahead.  

A great Camino Hotel

This was the first hotel I stayed in before starting my Camino walk officially!  I had started my journey in Leon via Barcelona and Madrid and had been traveling for a few days so I wanted a proper hotel before beginning my hike and I wanted a good nights rest.

This hotel was more than I needed it was like new clean and I had my own bathroom in the room I stayed in.

The innkeeper gave me a ride up the mountain to the next town early the next morning this was free of charge but I gave him a small tip.

The hotel is attached to a restaurant which was
Top notch too!

Unused Camino Facil or JacoTrans to take my backpack over the mountains to Samos as this was a Very long day of hiking for me and it worked out perfectly!

I highly recommend!

Amazing Service and Friendly People

The hotel is great with very spacious and clean rooms. There is a lift and that is a bonus. Avoid the restaurant from the ground floor. We had a terrible experience but just to make it clear...is not part of the hotel.

Nice clean room

Beautiful and clean rooms, fantastic staff, and a great value.  Highly recommended.  I stayed there just before I started the Camino.  I forgot something in the room and they mailed it back to me...thanks guys!

Fantastic stay

The husband and wife who run this hotel could not have been nicer. They went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating and  made a point of packing a breakfast to go for me since I was leaving early the next morning. 

Certainly worth going out of your way for 

This is a functional aparthotel in the valley five kms from the Camino near O Cebreiro. It is effectively an overflow for the mountain top village on the Camino and serves its purposes very well. The taxi ride down to the village was €20 and same for the return. Only drawback was the bathroom door wouldnt close fully. 

Functional aparthotel off Camino

We stayed for one night while walking the Camino Frances with Macs Adventures. This is approx. 7 kms off the route and we were transferred very efficiently by taxi from O'Cebreiro. While this accommodation doesn't compare to some of the quaint Camino hotel accommodation it is perfectly satisfactory and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The evening meal was ok, the breakfast is very basic.

Standard Room for Camino Frances

Away in the beautiful Galician country side...allow your feet to rest in this lovely restored farm house. Some rooms can hold a family of 6 including a kitchen. Esther and her staff are friendly and accommodating. Very comfortable rooms. Plan to eat dinner in town.

We were cycling the Camino so we were dissapoinment we wasn’t staying in O Cebreiro. PhonedCasa Pazos for the transport but it wasn’t available. So we just cycled there. 
We did transport back in the morning and we did  get a taxi back to O Cebreiro in the evening and  picked up.
The hotel was a pleasant surprise , very pleasant. The girl on the reception desk was very friendly and helpful.
There was secure cycle storage.
The bedroom was very nice as was the bathroom. No hot water though for some reason. 
Other guests were noisy during the night. 
You have a very short walk to Casa Garcia in the morning for breakfast which I thought was an improvement on what we had been offered previously fruit and yougart pastry / toast.

Nice stay and very helpful front desk

Having taken a taxi from O'Cebreiro to this town to stay we were somewhat let down.

The room which we had was on the main road was noisy, though we were told that there was a traffic diversion through the town due to roadworks and it is normally much quieter.

Ground floor restaurant, which is not part of the hotel, is to be avoided-very unfriendly service the next morning for breakfast not in keeping with our experiences on the Camino.

Sadly not one of our better stays on the Camino.
