We only stayed one night here but it made a big impression on us. Thinking that a Hostal might be something a bit downmarket, we did not know quite what to expect but we were very agreeably surprised. It was small but perfectly formed: decent sized room, cosy restaurant and excellent food, both dinner and breakfast. Dani, Silvana and her father were lovely warm and welcoming hosts. We would willingly stay here again!

We stayed here for one night during a recent walking holiday.Hotel is situated in a picture perfect village.We arrived after a very long day walking in cold and relentless rain.We were warmly greeted and immediately taken to  a fab apartment overlooking the river with terrace etc etc.It was exactly what we needed a place to stretch out and get warm.Dinner and breakfast were taken in the bar resaurant area in a glass enclosed terrace with wonderful views.Very good food choices at both and a special mention to the breakfast omelette which was wonderful.We were treated with warmth and a wonderful hospitality throughout our visit.

I Loved This Place.

A delightful little village, set in the hills, with an outstanding small hotel and restaurant. We only stayed for one night, but could have happily stayed for more if time had allowed. The hotel offers bedrooms in the main building, but we took a 2-room apartment, complete with kitchen, living room and its own terrace. All basic but clean. Food can be taken outside on the hotel terrace or in the dining room , or in a glass-enclosed dining room overhanging the valley below. We took demi-pension, but were offered the ful and extensive menu. They even had gluten-free bread!! Our hosts were excellent, working hard at keeping guests happy, and nothing was too much bother. Can't recommend any higher.

Magic stopover

If you like beautiful restored old towns in total remoteness (no, you don't have mobil reception!) with impressing nature and walking area around, enjoy a delicious dinner with local specialities and wine with a great view to the valley, sleep absolutely calm in an old stone house, and have very friendly and helpful hosts, you are exactly right here! We had a great stay and can only recommend it!

We drove from Nice to Beget through the Pyrenees.  It was an amazing journey with stunning sights.  The roads are very narrow, lots of bends with steep drops, sometimes at either side so be ready for this. however, it's worth it when you get to this fabulous village.  We were there during January so it was dark at about 18:30.  The Hostal was lovely, not like a hostal at all.  It was €65 each which included breakfast and dinner with a glass of wine.  The family were lovely but had NO English.  Well worth a visit!
