I wish there was a 6-star rating I could choose. That’s what this place deserves. Second consecutive year of staying here midsummer. Always feeling welcoming. All staff here are nice and friendly. Will stay here again next time. So should you.

Little gem in Ibiza

Absolutely wonderful hotel with super friendly staff, stunning views and immaculately clean rooms. Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. Felt like a really home away from home and is really a hidden gem in Ibiza. I look forward to staying here again😍

Hidden gem in Ibiza

This hotel is BEYOND and more! The staff, the views and the location! You can do everything- walk to the city 5-8min. Walk to the beach- 8min. Meanwhile enjoying most gorgeus Ibiza views. If I could I would give this place 10points or even 1000 😌 This place was most relaxing and the lady of the house was so so welcoming and warm, helped us to find our way and gave us beach towels for our beach time even though we were already checked out. And cherry on top was the litte cute furry friend, the main boss-  litte dog Chico! 
I already want to go back. Thank you for everything and thank you for being such an awsome place, we enjoyed more than we excpected we would.

This place is true gem! Run for it!

My new favourite home in ibiza. Relaxed spot with stunning views, only 10 minutes to Dalt Villa or Figueretas beach. Mixed nationality guests. Very peaceful, just what we were looking for. Fantastic terrace for breakfast or drinks. Run by a lovely family team. Book direct with the hotel for the best price and best rooms - they don’t put their best rooms on the comparison websites. Highly recommend. We will be back without a doubt.

Gorgeous peaceful spot, stunning sea views but only 10 min to Dalt Villa & Figueretas - run by a lovely family team

We went the Mar Blau 3 years ago (2019) for our wedding anniversary and decided to return with our two daughters (12, 14) for 4 nights the following year. Due to covid we had to delay for a couple of years but Mar Blau were extremely accomodating about this delay. We finally managed to get there this year and had an absolutely fantastic time, the hotel is absolutely immaculate and very comfortable. The airconditioning in the bedrooms was very welcome and the suite in general was very spacious and comfortable. 
The general feel of the hotel is more of a quiet family home than hotel, it is hidden away from the crowds of Ibiza town, but Placa Del Parque and the castle are a short (10 min) walk away. The hotel is extremely quiet and sleepy. It provides a real escape from the hustle and bustle of the town. The Mar Blau team are extremely friendly and very helpful. We really cannot recommend it enough!

Mar Blau is a real hidden gem!

Myself and my son stayed here for 6 days in July 2023.  I first stayed at this hotel in 2017 when I stayed for six weeks as my son was seriously ill in hospital. The kindness and welcome from the family and the tranquility and beauty of the setting made us want to return which we finally did this year. The rooms have been refurbished, but the ambience and feel of a traditional Evissian hotel remains. I cannot praise the family and staff enough, they have gone out of their way to help and make our stay the best it can be. The location is fantastic, the terrace looks out over the sea to Formentera and is a place of relaxation and calming. It is 5-10 mins from Ibiza town with all its amenities. I would heartily recommend it and I will be returning with my husband when I can.

A wonderful family hotel

I discovered this rare gem by chance on Google Maps. Boy, I wish I had discovered it years sooner. The biggest surprise finds at this place are the friendliness and helpfulness of staff as well as how clean and quiet it is. Plus due to late flight back home they go extra miles to make my experience comfortable after checking out. I loved my west-facing room as I could sunbathing. All in all I appreciate everything about this place and people. Highly recommended to all well-mannered and responsible travellers.

Rare gem

Waking up with sea views every day in nature will make your stay very special, and not to mention the rooms have an feel-good Ibiza vibe and spacious.

The owners are incredibly nice and helpful, making the experience very local rather than those tasteless hotels in Ibiza.

The price is fair for the experience you get, it's perfect for couples, families or solo travellers. I was able to work remotely with my laptop in the terrace and it was a luxury! Thanks again

The best value hotel in Ibiza, a true local experience, and also for remote workers!

Had the most wonderful relaxing 4 days staying here.  The staff were so helpful - we felt very well looked after. Our rooms were simple but comfortable and exceptionally clean - we were grateful for aircon and a fridge even in late September.   We found the location of the hotel very good - we could easily get to the town beach at Figueretes and it was a short and pleasant walk into the incredible old town or to the harbour.    The hotel has a very sunny terrace with a beautiful view and there are other small terraces on other floors.   Its family run which i think contributes to the calm and caring atmosphere. This isn't a place for those looking to have a wild Ibizan experience but for people looking to enjoy other aspects of Ibiza.  I've stayed in many hotels in many places and this was one of the very best I have every stayed in, because of the ambience and the excellent service.  Hope to return one day.

Exceptionally charming and tranquil family run hotel  set on a hill top overlooking the sea

A small, family run hotel within easy walking distance to the UNESCO listed Dalt Vila, the super pretty main square, and the beaches of Figueretes and Playa d’en Bossa. 
My room was spacious, immaculate, and had a balcony overlooking the sun/breakfast terrace and the sea. I slept with the balcony door open, to the sound of the waves. Heaven.

The charming  hosts are attentive, but never intrusive, the atmosphere relaxed, and clearly a lot of the guests were repeaters.

My local highlights were Little Ibiza, and Bebel for accomplished Italian seafood dishes.
