Slick professional site with a very responsive reception team.  Superb showering facilities. Lovely swimming pool.  Pitches adequate but need to tread with care as pea shingle slippy near sloping kerb. Mercadona supermarket just over the road excellent and prices low compared with UK. Located close to lovely beach  with wide promenade. Great safe cycling from the site.
We visited in September when the local fiesta took place which lasted 10 days - a bit noisy but this didn’t bother us.
At Bonterra we encountered a lot of long stay UK visitors who know each other and congregate in groups chatting, laughing,  drinking and generally having a good time into the evening. It is difficult to keep a low profile with a UK number plate as they are very friendly to fellow citizens abroad.  If this is not your style, perhaps take your time selecting your pitch.

Excellent coastal campsite

Had paella maurisco at restaurant last night. Fantastic.  
Would reccomend this as a meal. Would have been nice to have had more gamba on top but that is a minor criticism. 
It was served as a traditional paella should be. Lots of crispy rice on bottom of pan that had to be scraped off. 
Service has been a bit iffy but it has improved and was great last night. 
No complaints from all four of us who dined there.

We arrived at Bonterra Park one week ago. My wife was very nervous about coming away bu from the moment we checked in we knew the site was doing its utmost to keep people safe.
Life is not without risk but it's about managing them. 
I done a dynamic risk assessment for 2 weeks prior to leaving uk. The result was it would be safer here than holidaying in the uk.
The wife has stated that she is so glad she didn't stay home. You have to be here to realise it.
The amenity blocks are cleaned every couple of hours at most, we are looking at one block so know.
It's a deep clean not a flit over. 
Our pitch neighbour's left Saturday and the whole plot was sprayed with disinfectant. 
When in public spaces masks must be worn, even going to toilets.  It is relaxed if exercising or cycling. It includes walking in streets, shopping etc.
We haven't used the pool but you have to book your slot so it's not over populated.
We have been going to beach where there is stacks of room. Then done as locals do, mark a square in the sand around you so people do not encroach.  They stay out of it too. 
The only place we dont like is shopping in lidl. Like at home it's a fair. Probably give that place a miss in future.
If you are thinking of coming do so. You will be surprised at how much safer it is than holidaying at home.

Safe and hygienic

We stayed on this beautiful site in our Motorhome for 5 weeks and it’s amazing. All the staff are extremely helpful and very pleasant and speak very good English.
The site is so clean, very efficiently managed and has lovely bathrooms with constant hot water whatever time of day you used the facilities.
It also has a lovely restaurant and entertainment on a Saturday evening .
It has an indoor and outdoor pool too.
There is a Supermarket outside the site and a Lidl 19 minutes walk from the site.
The location is very good too - 10 minutes walk into the town of Benicassim.
Another bonus there is a bus stop outside the site too.

Bonterra Park - fantastic

Very well maintained and convenient campsite.   Showers and toilets very clean.   Plenty of trees and bushes between each pitch which look very pretty.   Indoor and outdoor pools. Bar and restaurant on site.   Lovely sandy beach and sea only a 5 minute walk away.   Plenty of good value restaurants and bars walking distance from site.   Lovely flat cycle track routes to do.   Reception staff very helpful and all speak English.   Butterfly nails in Benicassim very good for anyone needing their nails done but you need to book in advance.   Supermarket straight opposite entrance to campsite so very convenient.   We have been here before and keep coming back each year.    Good laundry room €4 for large washing machine including powder and tumble drier €4 for 30 mins and 2 lovely clean ironing boards.   Well run site.    

Lovely caravan site

Best campsite in azaha Spain, lovely staff , great large pitches, clean showers with lots of hot water, walking distance to supermarket, town and a lovely sandy beach, but without kiss me quick hat shops, lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance

Best

This campsite was one of the best we have stayed in in Spain. Immaculate pitches and beautiful showers which were clean, spacious with hot powerful water. 
Everywhere on the grounds were spotless. There is a children’s play park, basketball court and 2 table tennis tables. 
The town is within walking distance as well as the beach. 
We ate in the restaurant one night which was lovely. The staff were really friendly and helpful. 
The pool area has a life guard who has bags of toys with her to borrow out to the children. 
All in all this is a great campsite that we will be returning to. 

Great Campsite 

Just returned from our second visit to the site and 4 week stay.Once again we had a great time making full use of all the site’s excellent facilities.This is a top quality site in an excellent location close to the town,beach and promenade and what was good to see is that improvements to facilities and maintenance is continuously taking place. 
What we did find hard to understand was the way the site was very busy when we arrived at beginning of June but within a week or so many of the British visitors left en mass.

Same again please !

Bonterra Resort

This was our second time here as we were impressed the first time. It is still probably the best camp site we have stayed on, or looked at ( some in Spain are just rows and rows of motor homes really close to each other under canopies). Each pitch where we were (B) was surrounded by a decent size hedge and trees overhead which not only attractive, helped keep the pitch cool.

The facilities here are excellent. The shower/ toilet blocks are spotless but you have to know the cleaning schedule as it seems cleaning takes place just as everyone is getting up and wanting a shower. That said, there are plenty of shower blocks and if one is closed for cleaning there is another only a few yards away. The laundry is a good size and while we were there is €4 for a token from the machine in reception and also €4 for a dryer. The machine takes coins and €10 or €5 notes.

The restaurant does food which is OK and generous in portions with the menu del dia under £20.

We didn’t use the pool area which was undergoing renovation but the smaller pool was operational and there were sun loungers but the beach is less than a 10 minute walk away, so that is where we went.

All in all, a comfortable stay. Both times we have stayed here in May, we have been unexpectedly hit by really high wind at night on a couple of occasions, so be aware if you have an awning that a wise move would be to strap it down with ratchet straps. Friends of ours lost theirs a few years ago! Most people on pitches are in those huge motor homes or caravans; we were in our camper van with an awning. We suspect the resort has a micro climate which may account for the unexpectedly high wind, our weather App said wind of 8mph , more like 20 or higher.

If you choose to stay here, you will have a comfortable, enjoyable stay.

A lovely site

Very well run and professional. Good size pitches and very clean and well maintained services. Opposite the main gates was a large well stocked Mercadona supermarket which we found very useful. The beach is about a 20 minute walk from the site and has a lovely promenade with historic beach front houses. There are also beach cafes to fortify an evening stroll
