Having been unable to stop at the Aire I had intended to due to snow I pressed on to Pensacola and booked in for three nights. Nice clean site with all facilities needed for only 12e per night. Only 5min walk to the two beeches and the castle and old town

Spanish trip

Camping Ferrer was awesome. It was a bit of everything: hotel rooms, camping, traditional and cheap bar and restaurant. With the added bonus of a free car park, which when full (it frequently was) the family just let hotel residents have a safe camping bay. 
It isn't the most elite place in town but with a high season price of 70€ for an air conditioned, clean and airy room with balcony and nothing to fault, the place deserves full marks. 
Menu del dia at 10€ for homely three courses, drinks and wine served with  eclectic, but always welcoming, service was well worth having. The locals were testament to this. 
It served our needs perfectly. 

A great place

We stayed here for a few days in our motorhome, and found the proprietors friendly, the facilities very good...washing machines and dryers above average...and it was an easy walk into Peniscola.

The only downside was the extreme difficulty manoeuvring onto and off the pitches, with kerbs, narrow turns and tree branches impeding progress at every turn.

Good camping close to town.  Pitches difficult for any but small motorhomes,

i agree that the places are verry small.

the camping has a nice and clean pool and the staff is verry friendly.
camp here is a cheap way for hollidays in peniscola.
they also offer free wifi

Small but cute

An average camp / caravan site on usual dirt sites. Optional EHU.
Poor standard of toilets, tiled hole in the ground, no paper, but with good very hot showers. 
The bar attached to the main building closed at 4.30pm in October.
Attentive staff, spoke good English

Camp site within walking distance of shops and restaurants

It's difficult to rate this camping, it's got a great location close to town and the castle, reception is friendly, facilities clean, and wifi (not free) is fast but none of this matters if you can't park your van up easily.
We have a 7m long van which is 3m high, not particularly large as motorhomes go but the camping isn't suited to easy access. The roads are lined with trees whose low branches can't be avoided as the road is too narrow. This means that only a few of the available pitches usable. Once on the pitch it's so narrow that it's impossible to get an awning out because of the trees.
It's such a shame as it's a good camping but we won't be back as it's too much hassle to be sited and then not enough space to enable us to set up our safari room.
