I have just spent 12 wonderful days staying in a cosy cabin at this wonderful,quaint, clean and tidy campsite. Run by a lovely family and backed up with a couple of equally lovely staff, I was made to feel at home with all my needs  met with courteousness. 
I had no need to walk to the village for my evening meal after a great day’s walk up in the hills or along the GR7, as the food and service provided in the restaurant was excellent. I enjoyed the views of the village of Trevelez, and the valley and hills beyond as I ate my meals, which were washed down with a beer and a couple of glasses of wine of course.
All concerned with the running and managing of the campsite were full of knowledge in all aspects, and were very happy to pass this on. I was made to feel at home and I was always met with a greeting and a smile from them. 
I found campsite the very quiet and was perfect for my needs in every aspect.  The swimming pool was a welcome change when on my rest days off the hills and trails. 
Thank you all concerned with the managing and the running of the campsite for making my holiday an even better enjoyable experience.

Wonderful family run campsite!

Having planned a trip to Scotland, the weather forced us to look elsewhere. After a bit of googling we booked a last minute flight to Malaga then drove to the mountains and found this fantastic campsite!

Very friendly and helpful owners. Adventurers like us, we loved seeing photos of their mountain exploits in the bar. Great advice for local walks which led us to a 2 day expedition in the mountains to wild camp at Siete Lagunas and reach the top of Mulhacén.

Lovely food and wine in the intimate restaurant on site. Close enough to walk into the village with a bit of up hill on the way back.

Fantastic find in the Sierra Nevada!

We stayed here for several nights in late May 2018, camping for two and enjoying a bungalow for one. We couldn’t recommend it higher.
Riccardo and Alejandra were incredibly welcoming and freely offered there knowledge of the surrounding landscape. They helped us plan some day hikes, then entertained us with stories over dinner. The food was delicious too (try the trout with local cured ham).
The sites themselves have the basic needs and the bathrooms have hot water and plenty of showers, etc.

Camping with great food and expert advice

We got a tent spot for our car and small tent on the top tier of Camping Trevelez.  The staff was very friendly and helpful and directed us on a great hike up a nearby mountain.

The campsite was close to town so we were able to walk there and back for some tapas and cervezas at night, as well as cook breakfast in their cooking area in the morning.  Wifi is free around the office and restaurant, which we enjoyed.  The bathrooms were clean and the showers had wonderful temperature control and warm/hot water.

Highly recommend this campsite!

Camping with a view

Lovely setting with friendly staff who have good directions for a hill walk. Pool was refreshing and peaceful. Good value at two nights for about 40 euro for 4 of us. 
We had disappointment in walking down to the village to find the restaurants all shut in July - one owner said there weren't enough people to stay open for....


Mountain camping

Great camping for families. The swimming pool is fun and the stars are incredibly bright at night! We wanted to walk to Mulhacen and back in one day but after walking for about 5 hours up the steep mountain I wouldn't recommend it! Unfortunately the track is not well signposted and it is easy to get lost!!
