It is a small hostel with the probably best location in granada, in fact everything is close, Alhambra, cathedral and city centre and also nightlife is all around it. The stuff is very helpful and especially Viktor( great man) who helped us in finding everything what we needed. We had our private room for a very good price and is located on the top floor where you can benefit of a beautiful terrace with an incredible view. It is a small hostel but I definitely recommend to everyone cause it deserve nice clients and happy people :-)

July 15 granada

Rooms and bathroom are big for a hostel. Biggest we've had yet! Good location. Just a couple of streets back from Gran Via Colon so super close walking distance to everything but as it's tucked down an alley way it's quiet. Room had aircon which was very welcomed after having no sleep for 2 nights as our previous accomm in Cordoba didn't have aircon. Hosts were lovely and seemed to be at reception around the clock. Wifi connection seemed to be good. i was able to Skype home to Australia without any problems. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. 

Quiet and spacious

We stayed for a few nights while travelling and were really pleasantly surprised. A quiet, yet homely room, free WiFi of a good quality, great heating, which was essential for the time of year in Granada, and has a roof terrace with a lovely view of the city. Location is very central and access to the main attractions is really easy. The reception staff were absolutely awesome, really helpful and since our bus arrived in Granada at 1 am stayed up for us to arrive that night. Privates don't have ensuite, but that's no problem at all, and the shared bathroom is completely fine. The only problem would be the lack of kitchen, since we were on a budget. Would definitely stay again, though.

Fantastic, quiet room in great location.

Hostel Arroyo is really well located, at the centro of Granada. The beds and hygiene of the hostel are okay, however they have some flaws, like bad TV's and Wi-Fi. It's important to know that you have to make the check-inn in another place 5 minutes walking from the hostel, called "Duquesa - Bed and Breakfast". The price is fair and the staff is really gentle and Nice.

Good price and localization. The hostel itself, not much

The good, the bad, the ugly… 

OK, so what can you expect from something that doesn't cost much. Still, I have had better experiences in hostels. 

This one was good in terms of location (and price), and it did have free wifi, although this was not available all day long (something like 1 PM to midnight or so…) which was slightly annoying. The bad part was definitely the weekend, when drunk people would return to their room(s) all through the night & early morning. Making lots of noise in the hallway, and partying on in their room with the door open. Not the fault of the hostel of course, and expected before 2 or 3 AM, but annoying nevertheless. I did not get a key for the 'from door' downstairs, so that you have to ring the bell at all hours during the night if you come back late. The room I had was also without bathroom. Shared toilet & shower was down the hall a ways. Which brings me to the 'ugly', which was that the shower head was broken so that it did not attach to the wall anymore. No one fixed it during the 4 days I was there. No one made the bed or cleaned the room either. Again, what can you expect, but I have had better service and better experiences in other hostels. I will not go back here.
