apartments were basic but very clean tv had a good choice of english channels reception although not 24 hr the staff were very helpful 27 apts in total pool small about 15 mtrs railed off with gates for entry good safety feature guests would greet each other freindly atmosphere the restaurant attatched to the complex well worth a visit lovely food very reasonably priced would go back if I had to give any negative it would be to warn anyone with walking difficulty be aware old town is very hilly some steep taxis are reasonably priced so if you wanted to go to new part of town which is much more level and has a lovely sandy beach lots of shops about 4.50 euro in a taxi

After reading other reviews we were a little apprehensive about these apartments but for the price we played they were great.

Very clean, staff very polite, we only booked 3 days before travel and travelling with a 2 year old and we got a ground floor apartment with a lovely sunny terrace with travel cot and bedding all ready when we arrived. Proper bargain and in a really nice quiet location. The pool is tiny but was clean and fine for a paddle..

Lovely for the price 

I am just back from a weeks stay in europa apts in lanzarote and I enjoyed it immensely The location of them is perfect for both a quiet break and a livelier one is just minutes walk away i read reviews before i went so had mixed feelings about it the apartments are spacious and clean yes they are a bit dated but that didn't bother me but suited me well as i was just there to chill some reviews said you had to hire a kettle which isn't true as there is one there so I had no need for my travel one which I brought there was always very hot water any time I used it the apartments are quiet in themselves but you hear the noise from elsewhere but didnt bother me as there isn't a lot you can do about that my room was on ground floor which was easy accessible to the small pool which also was quiet most of the time the beach is a few minutes walk away if you prefer that and I saw the pool cleaned regularly during my stay the reception is open from 9 to 4 weekdays 10 to 3 on sat and closed on suns elena the receptionist is a lovely lady very friendly and helpful 
The busy strip is about 10 minute walk away a supermarket is across the street and there is a spar just around the corner 
If you are after a relaxing break they are ideal the beds are comfortable but a blanket would be ideal for the chill through the night the television is good enough and you don't pay for it there is a safety deposit box it costs 16 euro for week but you get 6 off that back when you return the key 
The restaurant attached to the apartments serves good food and isn't badly priced but there are cheaper places out and about that is where you collect your key if you check in late 
I would definitely return to these apartments the only downside is the 10 o clock check out as they don't fo late checkouts and your luggage can only stay In reception till it closes which on my last day was 3 30
All in all i really enjoyed my stay there

Perfect for solo traveller

Stayed.here for a week and must say although it's not the ritz was very clean and comfortable. The beds were probably comfiest beds we have slept in for a hotel abroad. We were upper floor so had balcony over looking pool area nice n private. Always sunbeds available and pool regularly cleaned. Staff very friendly. Good location for quiet life and only 10 minutes walk to old town and harbour. Deffo be back.

Very surprised

Due to go home tmr. Pleasantly surprised after reading reviews on here. Had everything we needed. Towels changed and apartment cleaned once during our 7 day stay which was fine. We didn't eat here so  ant comment. Would defiantly stay here again

Not how it looks on the pictures, pool area very very small and not alot of room for sunbeds..sunbeds tired and dirty.Apartments very small but ok for two people..The complex very noisy from hotel accross the road.Wall paper thin.Positive location good for walks and on site resturant very good.Would not return to complex.

Wouldnt return!

We stayed for 14 nights and to be honest it is quite basic but has everything we needed . We had our apartment cleaned twice in our stay and the cleaning really wasn’t up to much .
The receptionist is very pleasant but as reception is only open every third Thursday when there’s a full moon you’d be lucky to meet her . Other than the poor cleaning the only other issue we had was a large group of young Spaniards who stayed for 3 days in the middle of our stay who felt it was acceptable to remove our patio furniture and sit by the pool at midnight and use our patio as an ashtray .
If you’re okay with a walk to the town centre , which is a bit hilly it’s fine . There’s a supermarket a couple of minutes walk away and lots of great bars and restaurants within walking distance ..

2 week stay for 6 

Stayed here for a month in January, after reading previous reviews we were very sceptical but we were not disappointed the rooms are a little bit dated & basic but they had got everything that you needed and were cleaned regular, the balcony got the sun from morning to night & got views of the sea. The pool space was limited so we used the hotel over the road. It was a 10 minute walk to the harbour & 20 minute walk to strip, taxi fare was 3 euros back from strip. Don't be put off by reviews we would definitely go back

Basic but good accommodation

Just departing after 1wk staying at Europa apartments. You get what you pay so for £250 for 1wk it’s hard to be over critical but there is a need for upgrade and basic improvements.

Good Points
1. Wi-fi worked well
2. spacious apartments 
3. Great balcony
4. Quiet when I was there (I would advise get upstairs room as i suspect lower floor rooms could be noisy)
5. Hot Shower (though if you need more than 2 showers hot water is limited)
6. TV channel choice was extensive 
7. Location for us was fine as the walk for us was good exercise- the apartments sit at top of a hill about 20min walk to main beach.

Need to improve
1. bedroom - Beds/mattress shockingly bad and was worn out and should have been replaced long ago. 
2. Cleanliness - generally not good (sheets were blood stained and toilet not properly cleaned). On a positive on this point I did get fresh towel/sheets half way through stay which I didn’t expect going on comments from other travellers.
3. Door lock (rm 19) needs replaced it kept jamming either in locked or open state (arguably a safety issue)
4. Check in/reception times (see below)

Checkin for me was a disaster. I arrived at Europa as scheduled just after midnight. To find place completely closed. The notice board had an emergency number that rang out and the restaurant (la bamba) also shut up for night. I called Onthebeach who I booked through and they basically said go find something and call back in morning. So I had to wander about to find a hotel which luckily I did. Onthebeach service was really poor and it took several calls the following morning to eventually sort it out.

In fairness to the Europa apartments they did acknowledge their error the next day and paid the hotel charges back to me direct but this needs to be avoided and Onthebeach need to sort their emergency support.

Despite all the above I’d probably stay here again but only if after a cheap deal and certainly not as main holiday. I’d also need to insist on a few basic improvements as outlined.

Fine but could easily be better

stayed here for a week these are quite basic apartments on a budget depends on your needs think they would be ideal for small families the location it on the quite side of lanzarote up a big hill near the port there a fair few shops within 5 minutes walk also  supermarkets and bus stops going both ways reception is open 9-4 mon to fri shorter hours sat closed sunday staff were very friendly i did find quite odd no little soaps supplied i thought these were supplied even in self catering apartments no welcome pack either i think these could be addressed on the whole i enjoyed my stay its ideal for a cheap basic place
