I spent 5 days here and it was fantastic! The staff are very polite and friendly and the room was cleaned daily! 

It’s an excellent location, only a couple minutes walk from everything so you don’t have to walk to far to get back.

The air con in the room was a life saver, everyday was 35-40 degrees when I was there so it was very convenient to pop back and cool down for a little while!

As for the bed it was very comfortable with the sheets being changed every 1-2 days so cannot complain. The shower was good, excellent water pressure which I was happy about and the Wi-Fi was very fast and reliable.

Lots of restaurants nearby. Walking distance to most places  including the train to the airport. Suggest to go for a walking tour, informative and relaxing. Hostal doesn't have a lift, be prepared to walk up 4 floors to the room. 

Excellent location 

Amazing location, in heart of the old town with lots of restaurants and super markets near by, everything in walking distance: museums, Christmas market in plaza mayor, all you would want and need. We find the hostel quite easily with google and had no issues checking in. We also could leave our luggage after check out for a few hours as reception is open until mid night. 3rd floor and no elevator but it was manageable. Room neat and clean, bathroom small but had everything you would need.

Noisy, but not from outside, from neighboring room. Walls quite thin as I was startled first morning by an alarm which sounded just like mine so I was grabbing for my phone desperately to turn it off not to wake my partner, and I was very confused as I knew for sure I had turned it off before our vacation aand surprise it was the neighbors alarm going off at 7 am. No heating, which I understand is typical for Spain. We had an air conditioning but it did not manage to heat the room enough. Also it was only slightly warm in the room when it was turned on, when it was off it was cold again. We could not sleep with it on as it was noisy and also facing the bed so you could not breath with it on, laying in bed. If you're not comfortable with chili rooms I don't recommend it. It was extremely unpleasant for us, especially in the night time

Great location but very chili rooms, no heating

After a long year, I returned to Madrid to stay in my favourite area of the city and my favourite Hostal: HOSTAL ADRIA SANTA NA. Nothing has changed, same great atmosphere, great comfort and services. This is like being home away from home and within seconds, when you close the door behind you (noisy streets of Madrid) you are in a different world and completely isolated from the outside. Rooms are comfortable with en suite bathroom, WIFI, safety box, mini fridge and wardrobe..... Would recommend the Hostal without hesitation

Another great visit

I spend 3 nights in this lovely “hostal” with two other friends . The room was  large and well decorated , the toilet small but suitable. Even if the hostal is sat in place full of bars and tavernas (so you can reach good restaurants in a few steps ), the double window prevents every annoying sounds. 
We surely suggest it ! 

Lovely place, clean and comfortable 

I'm really afraid to write this review, but I need to, because our stay was a shame. The double room (13m^2 really?!) is so tiny that a normal couple can barely move together and has to resolve every day logistical problems to move or store something. The toilet is positioned in front of a wall so that only very small people can sit down correctly). The view, which view?! The windows are so tiny that you can just put out you head and see...another wall! The interior court stinks 24h/day about deep fried because so many kitchens are purging their air in this unventilated space. The air conditioning must be an incredible nest of bacteria, because of the strong and unpleasant smell when putting the fan on. The result is: you cannot breath in that room. The walls are so thin that you hear everything from your neighbors and their neighbors too. Neither the door are isolated since they use the same cheap doors, with air and sound passing through, for the bathroom as for the entry door. The drainages in the bathroom are extremely stinking every time you flush the lavabo, or the shower and vice-versa. They give you one card and one key for entering and exit your room and the entrance door, so you are always obliged to find a solution with your room-mate, since no card: no electricity in the room.

Honestly I expected much more reading the other advices. I'm honestly disappointed and disgusted from this place.

I want to be fair and praise the guy who was in charge for the room cleaning: great work, very professional! (Even if the time he passed was largely aleatoric, sometimes around 13:30 and sometimes around 16:30).

Just for info: we spent 5 night there (and I regret them strongly).
