There is a lot to see and do in Madrid and Pension Corbero is beautifully situated for the important museums, parks, one of the main train stations, and just walking around the many interesting districts above the Paseo del Prado.  Juan and Maria are lovely, efficient hosts who run a simple but comfortable place to rest after seeing all the sites.    Highly recommended.   

Perfect jumping off location for sightseeing.  Comfortable, clean, and quiet.

Fantastic  room really  comfy  bed pillow s  our room was cleaned  every day the host where lovely  very welcome  stay , we be definitely  returning  !!  Would definitely recommend  ! Also great  👍 location  !

Great location, clean rooms and kind staff - I really enjoyed staying here. It is also a lot cheaper than other hostels/hotels in the similar area. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Madrid!

Great value for money

We have enjoyed it so much, we could sleep well in our room. It is so close to Prado and the owners are very nice. Liquid soaps are in the bathroom. The Pension is in the 1. floor, but there's an elevator. There is a great breakfast-place in front of the Pension's main entrance.

Good place

I absolutely loved this place! The woman is so nice and the room was so beautiful decorated with style and very clean. Also, the bathroom was kinda big and very nice! I felt like home and if I will visit Madrid again, I will definitely stay there.

Amazing place!!!

Our room at the Pensión Corbero was secure, quiet, comfortable, spotlessly clean, and a great value for the money. The owner had really thought about what her guests needed - It was the one place we stayed in Spain that had adequate lighting for reading and enough places for toiletries and hanging towels in the bathroom. There is a kettle for hot water and an elevator to help with luggage. It is a short walk to the Prado and the Thyssen, and a 20-minute walk to the Reina Sofia. As well as the good café across the street for breakfast, there are many tapas restaurants just around the corner on Calle de Jesus. We particularly liked the Cervecería Cervantes (Plaza Jesús, 7) and Tinto y Tapas (Calle de Almadén, 16)

Everything we needed

Just returned from a 3 night stay, very pleased with the location. Only 10 minute walk to Retiro Park and 5 minutes to Gran Via.

The room was very clean with fresh towels everyday and beds made. The owners were very friendly. A fridge and free safe were also in the rooms. 

The only reason I'm not rating this a 5 star stay is because we could hear people coming back/leaving at all hours. Not very sound proof, our room window looked into someone elses and there was no mirror in the bedroom which made it a bit awkward trying to get ready at times.
