Excellent staff, low price accommodation

The Hostel was GREAT! It had everything you would ever want in a Hostel: air condition, clean showers and toilets, a kitchen, FREE breakfast, friendly personnel and even Sangria at 9:30.
The price was awesome for what the hostel had to offer and I will totally come back when I am in Madrid again. There really was nothing to complain about!

Great Hostel!

Me and my friend stayed in this hostel recently and we are glad that we did. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We had our flight next day in the evening and they allowed us to use their facilities even after the check out. I would definitely reccomend this for your stay in Madrid

Very pleasant stay

Stayed two nights at La Posada and loved it. Perfect location and friendly staff. Clean. Good hot showers. Had not realized that breakfast offerings were included.... a welcome surprise. The first evening I ate out but the second evening I brought back groceries and shared a fun suppertime with fellow travelers in the kitchen. A great find in a lively neighborhood.

Am not a "youth" but loved it

Awesome everything, all the staff, the cleaning with a big window which you can open, the security with very big lockers, the atmosphere, perfect location very close to historical centre, I totally recommend

Very good hostel

I loved the fact that you could leave your luggage if you arrive earlier than check-in and also that you can leave your luggage the whole day after having checked out. The hostel in near everything as it's right in the center of the city.
Breakfast should definitely be improved, it's too poor. 
Rooms are spacious and you have your own locker and sockets next to your bed. You are given a kinda of watch that opens the door of your room, your locker and also the front door of the hostel if you arrive late at night after partying hehe. I'd repeat!

Friendly people, comfy place, great location and price-reasonable

I really like this hotel, it's cheap yet provides good quality stay. There are different kinds of rooms, the ones with bathroom are probably more comfortable if you're staying in peak season, but I didn't have any issues using common bathroom. Nice hostel for a short stay in the centre of Madrid

Location wise this is perhaps the best place to stay in Madrid. Staff is great. My dorm room was bit small and stuffy for 5 people. Breakfast is ok. They have free bag storage. Wifi is good. Walking distance to all major sights of Madrid. 

Great location

Nice place for staying a night. Rooms are cleaned every day and they provide free tour every morning. Although I didn’t join it, I think it’s fine. They provide clean bed sheet. It would be better if they also provide towel. No shampoo and lotion so bring your own lotion. The bathroom is a bit difficult to use cuz you have to keep pressing the button to ensure the water is coming out.

nice place for solo travel

I stayed for a week while I was applying for places to live in September. Staff are extremely helpful. I was in a 5 bed dorm, with large lockers that I could store my hand luggage in. There is a seperate luggage room for larger bags. The showers are fine by hostel standards, good power and temperature but you need to repress the button every few seconds. Wifi is poor on upper levels but I just brought my laptop downstairs and chilled in the common areas so this wasnt a huge problem for me.Staff are friendly and very capable. They made a stressful week much easier for me. I would recommend staying here.
