This was a last minute booking which I found on Expedia having had my travel plans disrupted. I arrived in Santander and went online to find something close by. I had a rental car so I wanted somewhere accessible that had easy parking. Hotels in the city charge lots of money to park and this little jewel of a place showed a quick 15 min drive.

I arrived easily and was astounded by the beautiful appearance of the place. The owners clearly take pride in the upkeep of the building and the grounds. It’s SO Spanish and just lovely.

I couldn’t believe the standard of the rooms for such a modest nightly rate and I chose to stay for two nights. Immaculately clean and furnished to the highest standard. My stay here was perfect and I cannot recommend it enough. I would 110% stay here again if I return to this beautiful part of Spain.

Fast reliable Wi-Fi, coffee available in the morning, though I chose not to have breakfast. The owners were friendly and welcoming. Huge bed, plenty of towels and toiletries and a big plasma screen tv.

An absolute hidden gem!

This was a last-minute add to our Spain vacation and well worth the stay.  Beautiful building, super-friendly staff, and a delicious breakfast to get us on our way.  Really can't recommend it enough - 5 stars!

Beautiful building in a lovely setting

After a poor welcome which gave an inaccurate first imression we found the management to be really helpful despite no English and our poor Spanish. The place had been restored immaculately and was maintained perfectly with a real eye for detail. Avoid eating in the immediate area which are just truck stop cafes.  The hotel doesn't offer dinner but will offer facilities for your own take-away or picnic. A great place to stay.

A real hidden gem

This is the most beautifully restored building I have seen in recent years. It is decorated in a beautiful way and I can only recommend it highly. The town it is in is very industrial so not a catch. However the location is very close to other places and beeches and therefore must be somewhere to visit if your going by. The team only speak Spanish but introduced me to google translate. Which worked between us well. They did my laundry for me washed and dry in a hour. Breakfast was great, very spanish including cake and ole ty of coffee. No dinner. Bedroom was immaculate and intimate as was the very well appointed bathroom with full size bath. The price was excellent and easily far too cheap for the accommodation provided. I highly recommend it. This is how it should be done. I have stayed on my 2  of 6 week stay in Spain in far far far worse for far more money. So.... please stay here it is great. 

Intense Camino luxury at a pilgrims price. 

Although we had difficulty finding Posada La Victoria, it was well worth the effort.  The owner was very welcoming and gave us a bag of lemons from his own tree.  We had a lovely room and the steak for dinner was excellent.  A lovely relaxed evening in Posada La Victoria!

Lovely room and food excellent

We went for the weekend with my fiancée to celebrate her birthday, we got a pack that included dinner and breakfast. To be honest I would have preferred just paying for the lodging. Food was below average, and no options. Besides that, the building was beautiful and the landscape minutes of the shores of the Cantabric Sea are just amazing.

Beautiful building and sorroundings

We would give this a 3.5rating if we could do halves! Pretty building, Well maintained. Nice rooms and is clean. But difficult if u don't speak Spanish. Quite a remote location so a little bit of a mission to eat out. However the posada put on some basic food in the evening for cheap price, 12euro dinner per person including drinks. Overall good value and nice place.
