Stayed here one night while doing Camino. Guy running it does a brilliant job. Has an albergue combined and it looked so well set up. As we were in the pension we could come down and make a hot drink. I had an issue with my shoes and he was able to help me with that. Breakfast the next morning he was busy making coffee for everyone, just so well set up. Highly recommend. Supermarket just round the corner.

Not a pretty hotel. No view. Nothing outstanding. However, acceptable accommodations with good wifi. 
Good place to stop to plan your next step of your trip. The hotel has a restaurant where dining is very affordable. 

ACCEPTABLE ACCOMMODATIONS

I walked into Navia on a cloudy day with light rain, and chose this hotel for its name, mainly because I had been walking with an Estonian pilgrim and was feeling positive about the Baltic world.  The steps were slippery tile, but I made it to reception without an accident;  the young woman receptionist was friendly and helpful, and made sure to explain things in a way which I could understand with my poor Castilian.   The room was down a poorly-lit corridor but was larger than I expected.  It was comfortable and good value for the price.   There was an excellent seafood restaurant nearby (it's hard to get bad seafood in Asturias) and so I was able to go to dinner without getting wet.  Breakfast was available in the restaurant's bar the next morning, but was the typical Spanish breakfast of juice, coffee, and bread-- the barman found some cheese and chorizo for me, so that I would not be deprived of protein for my walk to Tapia.

Correct and good value

This pension is good value for money but very noisy from seagulls, road noise, bar downstairs and pilgrims leaving at 6am.  bathroom shower is tiny and we are not big people.   Its a pity about the above as its a nice enough place, good decor, excellent staff and good amenities, just shoot the seagulls and put a diversion on the road.
Shut the bar at 12pm and give the pilgrims sleeping pills.  Can we also have dinner before 9pm.   International tourists dont all want to wait till the spanish custom of 9pm.  
Forgot to say we also had 3 mosis in the room which kept us occupied during the night trying to find them.  That was on 2nd night only but if you are in roo 102 put repellent on.

Take earplugs, screeching seagulls at 6am, road sweeper sounds like aircraft at 8am

We booked a room through booking. When we arrived, the receptionist attended us and showed us the room. We got surprised because it was a single room (we are a couple). The room is little and although it was recently painted, you could see humidity marks on the walls, and you could also smell it a lot...really disgusting.
We understood that we commited a mistake having selected a single room instead of a double one (we are a couple), so we decided to leave and find another place with an acceptable room, and the girl agreed.
We found a 4 star hotel close to there for 85€ (the single room in cantabrico costed 50€!!!) and we went there.
The surprise came when the owner from cantabrico called us to tell us that we should pay the room although we were not going to stay there, and with bad manners..
We went back to the pension cantabrico to talk with them and explain that we commited a mistake and that we couldn't sleep in that little bed, and she replied that many times before couples had staied there! We finished arguing about the payment and I finally paid them the 50€ just to never see them again, and we left. I din't ask for a bill, and i got surprised when bookinng sent me an email saying that the pension affirmed that we hadn't gone to the pension (assuming that we hadn't pay anything). I don't want readers to get bored, but after many calls, and returning to the hostel, we got the bill (the receptionist did it, probably because she didn't know the argue we had some days ago).
As you can imagine we had a bad experience there, and the owner is disgusting. I desire nobody goes there anymore, thinking that everybody can have a mistake, and at that moment you would like help, not bad manners.
