I had to cancel a night stay booked with Booking.com and the staff was so helpful in issuing a refund. Very friendly  they help me find a free parking spot in one of the side street right outside my window perfect to keep an eye on my vehicle as it wouldn't lock properly. Very confortable night sleep too. A++

Brilliant Staff

I have an old fashioned room with period decor.....separate bathroom. Its clean and comfortable with plently of hot water. No food provided except for a drinks machine.

U need to ring the bottom buzzer to alert reception. Best to book if you want a room. I came on the off chance a room was available .... and one was.



900m from the bus station

I went with friends to a 4-bed room.
When we arrived to the room the cleaning was doubtful, there was hair in the toilet and Doritos chips in the window aswell underneath the radiator.

The staff wasn't warming at all, never gave us a smile, no chit chat, nor gave us a tour through the hostal to know where the cafeteria was for example. And when they showed us the room, the staff guy left us without saying anything, no goodbye, simply disappeared.

The Wi-Fi was poor, probably because the room was more further away or there was a lot of clients in the hostal using it.

The only good things were the localization that was very close to the historic center, the beds were comfy, and the shower was warm and had good water pressure.

I booked this hotel the day I was supposed to stay there based on the fact that it said it was pet-friendly on booking.com, one hour later I received an email to inform me they were not... I asked could I cancel without charge.. due to the misinformation. They responded NO. IT WAS 2 HOURS AFTER BOOKING!!!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Unimpressed

The owner of this hostal treat me and my wife and little 4 year old son like cattle. We arrived very late from a long trip and the receptionist/ owner was so rude we decide to go to a different hostal in a better part of town with ensuite bath for same price. don't waste your time in this hostal as in a very ugly part of town and theres many other options in the city. After we left we find a very nice hostal with good customer service at 11pm on a friday, so is not so difficult to find the right place , and right in the old part of town. Hope this help you not to become the victim of this hostal.
