Just returned from a fantastic holiday at Siesta Mar Ibiza. What a stunning location! View of the Mediterranean from our deluxe apartment - and trees and greenery and sounds of cicadas (and parrots). The apartment was fantastic -better than anticipated - 2 bathrooms  (one with bath and shower, the other a shower) and 2 balconies with seating - one with table and chairs and clothes rack to dry clothes. Dish washer washing machine ironing board air conditioning in main bedroom and lounge (despite lounge one not working we found a huge floor fan in the cupboard - then lounge one started working - maintenance man very helpful). Plenty of cupboard space in bedrooma  (2nd twin bedroom cupboard doors require fixing and room could do with updating and a/c) but main bedroom very moderm and what a view! Huge tv in loungd with instructions which we never worked out how to use but didn't need it as had radio on instead if at home. 2 great supermarkets right by apartments. 15 minutes walk into Santa Eularia. The pool is enormous and so warm. Always managed to get a sunbed although not always a parasol. Lovely cafe by pool. Didn't try on-site grill restsurabf. Staff very friendly and helpful. Definitely returning!

Beautiful location!

We have come back to Siesta Mar year after year and adore the complex. We have stayed in 2 different family apartments which have both been modern, clean and comfortable. There is a lovely pool & bar in the centre of all the apartments which are arranged in 5/6 separate blocks, and the complex is located a 5 minute walk from a small beach and 15/20 minutes from the main beach/centre of Santa Eulalia. There are also restaurants scattered either side of Siesta Mar if you don't fancy walking to the town.

For me and my family this is the best place we have ever stayed for our holidays,the bungalows are really nice and are set in spectacular gardens,there is a really big pool in the middle of the gardens and there is lots of restaurants and bars in the vicinity.

My favourite place

As a couple we were put in the Goya block - room 202 which has the best sea view. Apartment was clean. Kitchen and bathroom needed modernising but there was everything we needed. The pool was just down the street on the next block. It's gated with lots of entrances around the complex. The pool is huge. Loads of sun beds always available. The walk to main bars is about 10 mins across the footbridge. Loads of bars and restaurants with great sea and marina views. Would recommend.

Fantastic sea view

We booked a one bed apartment at the Siesta Mar, staying between 16th -23rd September 2017.  We made our booking through Booking.com and we were allocated Goya 202, a five storey apartment block outside the main complex and arrived late on the Saturday night. The reception is closed at that time, but we had no trouble accessing our key which had been left in a secure locker, to which we were given the entry code.

We entered the apartment and could immediately see that it was not the standard that we had expected or which had been promoted online. We were shocked to find the extremely poor decorative order of both the kitchen and bathroom and photo's are attached. The living room, bedroom and balcony were fine. There were some other plus points: a lovely 40" smart led t.v, (but no English channels) but we streamed anything we wanted to watch through our tablet, good shower pressure and plenty of hot water, nice balcony seating and really comfy bed.

 We were quite shocked by the poor condition of parts of the apartment and made a formal complaint in writing, as requested in the apartment promotional leaflet and which was also copied to Booking.com. Then we went to see the Reception staff, who initially advised that if we were not happy, we could find alternative accommodation and we would not be charged. We had unpacked and did not wish to mess about looking for new accommodation, repacking and relocating, particularly as we were only there for the week.

After some negotiation we were give a reduction on the balance of our accommodation costs, which was supported by Booking.com, which better reflected the standard of the accommodation itself. Staff were polite and helpful throughout.

We went to the pool on several days during the week, but found that a number of the sun beds were cracked and broken, the gardens not as well kept as the photos online show and generally the whole place felt tired and a bit run down. It seems that some serious investment is needed to bring the standard back up to other apartments in the same price range.  

Despite the overall condition of the apartment, we still had a great holiday and this experience has not put us off from returning to Ibiza.

Nice view, shame about the apartment

I've never felt compelled to write a negative review in my life, but feel that I need to warn people about this dishonest and disrespectful business.

Having received written confirmation of our reservation, and subsequently booked non-refundable airline tickets, Siesta apartments inexplicably simply cancelled our booking a week later with no explanation.   We are now significantly out of pocket.

Please be aware of booking with this dishonest business.
