Great budget hotel right where the action is in Seville. Location is simply amazing. The staff is very friendly, courteous and helpful . Got a lot of valuable information from the hotel staff. The rooms were a bit small , but clean.

Great hotel in city centre

I have to say that this was by far the best stay in any hotel I have stayed. It isn't a 5 star hotel, but the the staff are 10 star. They are the friendliest and most helpful staff. They truly made the stay amazing. 

The hotel and the room itself is tastefully done and was always clean. The food was excellent as well. The location was PERFECT. Everything was right there or a very short walk.

Excellent

I have to admit I was not very excited about where I was gonna stay during my visit in Sevilla last week. My personal experience on Sevilla's hotels were not quite good at all until now, I have visited Sevilla three times before and the hotels I stayed in were kinda mediocre on an overall service. But this time a friend of mine recomended to me the Blue 8 hotel, he visited the Blue 8 a couple of weeks ago and he described it as a delightfull and wonderfull experience with a perfect location, he said to me " I love Sevilla and everytime i get to visit I walk outside the hotel as much as posible, but my stay in Blue 8 was so amazing I didnt want to leave the premises". At first I thought my friend Carlos was a little over reacting about the whole thing, although the location sounded terrific, but the minute I set foot in Blue 8 I was overwhelmed about how beautiful the hotel was, my eyes kept moving on every single detail and oh my, the attention to detail in this hotel is amazing, literally my fiancee's jaw dropped when we entered our room, the desing was beautifull, and the light coming through  the windows was so perfect I got my camera instantly and started taking pictures right away, I couldnt wait to take pictures with that beautiful light, the bed was so comfy, I swear I havent slept that good in years, the double height of the ceiling gives an unique atmosphere that could only match the exceptional staff service, here's the thing about Blue 8, its not only magnificent and beautiful but also have one of the most amazing staff Ive ever had on a hotel. The staff is always warm and they wear a smile at all times, the entire staff seemed to be in perfect synch anticipating every need, also the food was exquisite, every single dish was top notch, and the location is sensational. Im looking forward to visit Sevilla again, thanks to my wonderful stay at Blue 8.

" Amazing desing, food, service and perfect location"

I booked this hotel directly. When I called up I mentioned that was looking for a hotel room to celebrate a special occasion. The receptionist couldn't speak much English so I ended up sending an email to ensure that she understood my request (2 nights accommodation in a quiet room as we are light sleepers).

When I arrived at the hotel, the night receptionist couldn't any English leading me to use all my broken Spanish to get along with him despite being exhausted. The room type and the rate were wrong but trusted him so I put my PIN number confirming an amount that wasn't correct as he kept repeating that the situation would be sorted in the morning.

Once in the room, the horrible experience continued. The cleanliness was really bad. Hairs and stains in the bed linen. The bed looked really uncomfortable due to its metal frame and its thin mattress. The pillows were so really soft and lumpy that I had to go to reception to ask for another pillow. The bathroom looked cheap and unfinished, some tiles were chipped. The sofa was full of stains and the coffee machine at the desk couldn't be used as there wasn't any electrical plug. Most of the furniture and the duvet were the cheapest possible...

The experience wasn't going well but we were tired so we decided to try to sleep. When we noticed that was a connection door to the next room. We couldn't get to sleep by being disturbed by the snoring from the person staying next door. It was so loud that I recorded a video and I went down to reception and I show it to the receptionist, a young man who was really apologetic but couldn't do anything as the hotel was fully booked as all the hotels in the area also fully booked as it was bank holiday weekend.
 
In the morning, I went down to reception to explain the reasons that prevented us from sleeping, as that was all I had wanted since arriving in the hotel. Again, the receptionist couldn't speak any English therefore I had to wait for the manager. I tried to explain the whole situation again as the information wasn't passed to him before. Unprofessionally they only spoke Spanish with me when I told them that my Spanish wasn't good enough to express the whole station. So I tried to tell them that I was amazed by the bedroom that was given to me and costs 105euros per night. Therefore my only request was to cancel and get a refund of the second night. The whole team, manager and receptionist showed that they couldn't care less. I haven't heard a simple, "I am sorry" instead of it I received a categorical "NO" while they were expecting me as a guest to put up with all their mistakes, inconvenience and lack of comfort.

We ended up booking another hotel room even though we had booked a second night in the blue 8 as according to hotel policy the cancellation isn't 24h but 72h regardless of how bad their service is! Since We have left down by blue8 hotel staff I really don't recommend this hotel unless you want to try to have a cheap hostel experience at the price of a good hotel.

The lack of care from the hotel staff and the high price for a room are shocking!
