We stopped here when walking the Camino and had an excellent lunch (although the vegetarian member was stuck with tortilla and salad mixte - minus the tuna!). Service and food quality were both excellent. Recommended for food and drink at least - we didn't stay so I can't say anything about the accommodation but it looked spacious from the outside.

Excellent place for lunch on the Camino

I stayed at the above in early May and what a gem this place was. We (a party of three men) decided to take the single bed options which at 10 euro's for a night were a bargain. We had towels supplied (other hostels dont provide these) and a very decent power shower  -which was a god send. I've seen other reviews and dont understand the "Terrible" comments. The staff were friendly and even sorted us a taxi the following morning. Compared to other hostels we visited when doing some of the Camino, I would have no hesitation is recommending this one

Camino stay

We telephoned ahead to make a reservation and although our Spanish isn’t brilliant, the owner remembered the call four days later when we arrived and showed us to our room.
Once the passing pilgrim trade fizzed out, we were entertained by some local gentlemen playing cards and discussing current affairs..
A great place to practise speaking Spanish.

Friendly owners

The hotel is easily found close to the Camiño.The lobby is very tidy and the bar is a bit hectic!
Rooms are fine and good value but lack air conditioning which in 29'C at 2200, was sadly missed.
We avoided dinner as we spotted a freezer full of frozen pizzas choosing instead a fresh pizza from the restaurant 2 levels up!
Breakfast standard toast and coffee.
It's an old hotel with a few rough edges but worthy of a visit on the Camiño.

Handy on the Camiño

We stayed here on our recent Camino Frances. The albergue is fine, with clean bathrooms and showers and good bunkbeds. The main downside, as someone else has pointed out, is that there is little or nothing in the town itself. We were there on a cold and rainy day, so even laundry was difficult (as the clothes lines were mostly uncovered). The accompanying restaurant had the usual pilgrim fare.

A fine albergue

I got a single room and all was clean and nice. Nothing to complain about. The village is not more then a street so if your legs are fine, walk to the next village. 

Bought laundry service for 6 euro, and dinner was ok for pelegrino menu. There is not much more to do then just chat with the others.
