Stopped for two weeks. Although basic it is clean and homely. Very comfortable bed. Kitchen adequate and a washing machine in the shower room. Very useful as we washed our clothes before going to Costa Teguise. It has a pool which we did not use but the terrace outside is great for sun bathing. Sun on it all day long. Very quiet area which we loved - away from the main town but east to walk to. Nearby restaurants and bars are very friendly - unlike the town. Unfortunately, the apartment next door was being renovated which the owner did not know about and gave us a refund. The noise was in the day when we were mostly out anyway.  No English channels on TV but our contact for the apartment was a lovely lady who gave us the internet details for accessing many non Spanish channels. We would return.

Quiet, relaxing and basic

A small complex consisting of 2 or 3 buildings and a variety of residents. It seems that a large number of apartments are on long term rentals. There is no reception or on site staff, everything is dealt with via email or text. The apartment was not serviced during our stay.
Apartment was compact but very clean and came well equipped. The bed was very comfy and we slept well. Parking outside the apartments was nearly always full but there was usually space further down the street. We didn't use it the pool but we did see it being cleaned at least once during our stay. 
Very good value.

Comfy and quiet

Great area but unless your are fully fit its not for the disabled. Car is essential a few bars and restaurants ten minute walk but very hilly.old town well worth a visit with fabulous harbour and restaurants apartment clean and very basic, pool Ares ok

Stayed here a few times over the years, it is a quite friendly complex, all privately owned.

It is 500m from pocillios beach, there is a large spar, car hire, bike hire and a few bars and eateries withing 500m

It is very quiet at night...just perfect

We liked it that much we bought one !!

La Mimosa

We just got back from 2 weeks in Lanzarote. We decided to stay in Puerto Del Carmen because is a smart location, close to the airport (€12 by taxi, €1,40 by local intercity bus), all the transfers and pick up services are stopping there, is right in the middle so is easier to move nord or south. Is about 30 minutes by bus to reach playa Blanca e Papagayo, as well as 40 minutes to reach the Golfo on the other side of the island. From Las Mimosas we walked to Rancho Texas Park,  shops and the beach are a short walking distance. 2 pools are available for the complex, all the area around is really clean and quiet. Perfect place for relaxing and resting, no noise kids in the pool area. Family are choosing aparthotel Costa Mar,  a complex of apartments much bigger than Las Mimosas,  bigger pool always full of kids. 

Very clean and tidy apartment,  great location 

Very comfortable, and very clean apartment, located in a nice quiet area.  Perfect place for a rest.
The price was a little more expensive than I was expecting to pay but I'm sure this was due to the time of year.  

All the necessary amenities (kettle, Big TV, hob, Wi-Fi, microwave, etc.), no oven and the safe was an optional extra.
The apartments are not cleaned by anyone (other than yourself), so take this into consideration when booking.  The apartment seems to be a rental, where all the cleaning is done by you.  Personally, this was not a problem.

Also, the apartment is a bit small for a couple of friends, it is the right size for a solo traveler.  Again, not a problem since I was a the only occupant.

Overall, I liked the apartments and will book again but only for myself.  I will need to either book another room for friends or go somewhere else.
