Centrally located, close parking, and only 50 euros! The bed wasn't the most comfortable but for a 1 night stay it was fine. We stayed in the room with an attached bathroom, which was convenient. The owners were adorable, too! 

Beautiful and quaint 

Rick Steve's recommended this pension, so I trusted him, but we were not comfortable there.  The positive is that the proprietor lady was very nice!  If you really need an inexpensive room, and that is all that matters--then book a room in this pension.  However, as another reviewer mentioned, the ceiling was a pitched roof, and we could hardly stand up.  The bathroom is so tiny that you can hardly turn around in the area.  There is very little light in the room, and we could hardly see to read. All in all, we wanted to be out of the room as much as possible.  But I think they are wood workers, and the building smelled like wood polish or something simiilar.  There is no AC--we were lucky that it was raining, and the nights were cool.  

If you do book a room, find out in advance how to actually find the hotel.  We were close but kept driving around and around because we could quite locate it.  As it turns out, in order to access the building, you have to use the street that is marked with the red sign that means "Do not enter".

Regret Booking this hotel.

So first things first, good things, the place is cheaper than others but you can find others at same price. 

Location is great, in town easy to get to everything but some advice on driving there take the back road not through town as google directs you take the back road route its far easier to get to the place. 

Ok on arrival we didn't get an warm welcome it felt, well a bit awkward like we were a inconvenience. Customer service should definitely be learnt by the two elderly owners or employ service trained staff. 

We had a room on the top floor, two single beds the roof was super low and the room rather small, compared to the tiny bathroom the bedroom was palacial in comparison. 

The bathroom was very small and awkwardly set up and as a guy with big shoulders had to squeeze around the sink and toilet roll holder and the shower to sit. Larger people will certainly struggle to feel comfortable or even get onto the toilet at all. 

Hygiene wise i didnt find it clean, i felt rather itchy in the sheets... They smelt clean and nice and perhaps i was just having a reaction to the Detergent. We found dead flies and dust around the room, so not super clean or comfortable. 

 On the first night i was awoken repeatedly by a baby crying as the walls are sooooo thin. You can hear basically what everyone was saying around the entire place so as a spanish speaker tv was not required as i had the soap drama of everyone elses life going on around me. This led to two nights with little sleep leading to sleep in late both mornings trying to catch up, cleaner isn't like me on holidays. 

This lead to our next experiences with staff, the cleaners were shouting at each other about i would say inappropriate conversations shouting from Room to room while they cleaned the other rooms. waking me up again so i gave up on sleep and tried to shower, They then tried to come into the room even when were saying excuse me we are getting dressed (in Spanish so they understood) The tone of  response was most unfriendly but words used were not rude. So we left five mins later and had found they left our new towels outside and didn't come back to clean the room at all, which may explain why the place is so dirty.. A little lazy. 

All in all for me i think they accommodation was ok priced its cheapish but i was really disappointed by the whole experience and at that price a smile and nice responses goes along way... But when you cant sleep for the noise it would go further if the staff were nice welcoming and cleaned the place. 

I would look elsewhere in this beautiful little town
