Had one night staying at the hotel fantastic and friendly atmosphere excellent rooms and excellent staff fantastic for walking or mountain biking staff very helpful. Clean and warm fantastic place to look around

Friendly family hotel

We had a lovely stay here for 2 nights whilst on a walking holiday.
The owners and staff were all very welcoming and friendly.
Our room (big and clean) had a large balcony with table and chairs where you could sit outside and admire the stunning views out over the plains and hills.
Being on the edge of the village, it is in a very quiet and peaceful location.
Breakfast was of a very high quality, and there was plenty of it!
I would not hesitate to return for another stay if I found myself in the area again.

Very friendly hotel. Amazing views, excellent breakfast

I love this hotel. The views are stunning, the rooms gorgeous and Alejandro and Olga are always so welcoming. This time we were on a cycling trip through the white villages and we were sadly only in Zahara for one night. Our room on the top floor had a view of the mountains and the infinity pool. The room and beautifully equipped bathroom were spotlessly clean. The bed enormous and comfortable. On this occasion we did not have dinner in the hotel restaurant but can happily recommend the food based on previous visits. The breakfast is excellent with fresh fruit, freshly squeezed juice, toast, freshly cooked eggs all served with a smile. Hope to be back soon!

Return visit to our friends at Los Tadeos.

Can't speak higher of this fine hotel, everything was very good or even better than very good.  And its well situated for a very interesting town with some truly excellent walking in the surrounding countryside, no need for a car.  We even had a close up view of a very busy otter not too far from the hotel!

Wonderful room, fine restaurant, really nice staff, great pool.

This was our second trip, with our friends, to this super little rural hotel tucked away in the delightful village of Zahara de la Sierra.

The welcome and service is very friendly and helpful.  The rooms are very clean and comfortable with compact and well appointed en-suite bathrooms.  Our room had a spacious balcony with views that are outstanding.  The swimming pool is a special feature of the hotel with infinity views over the countryside to the mountains beyond, fabulous.  The area around the pool is an oasis of tranquility where the silence can be heard!!  The bird watching is amazing.

We ate at the hotel and enjoyed well prepared rustic fare which was delightful and once again overlooking the most amazing view.

We will without doubt return.

A haven of tranquility 

We stayed two nights and wish it could have been a little longer. The pool was beautiful and a welcome treat after our day of hiking. The service was friendly and the food was terrific! We only had breakfast and lunch as they were closed for dinner the nights we were there, but I imagine it would be just as good as the other meals. It's a nice hotel and great location being just a short walk to the village. It was quiet and the views were gorgeous!

Wonderful Experience

This family run hotel has great rooms which all seemed to have their own outside patio space and recently refurbished bathrooms. With the beautiful infinity pool and sitting on the edge of the village, I'd say this hotel has the best location in the village. The owners were very helpful with arranging a hiking permit for us to walk a specific trail in the National Park.
Breakfast was simple but plentiful and dinner likewise, with plenty of choice. The restaurant and bar were very quiet and could have done with a few more customers to improve the atmosphere but it was low season!

Best location in Zahara!

I was booked into this hotel while taking a cycling tour last year. It is located in the near outskirts of the white village of Zahara de la Sierra but close enough to the main attractions. Well, actually everything can be done on foot in this tiny lovely village.
Rooms are quite large and very comfortable as well as the bathroom. The building itself is like a great farm house, so every room are really spacious and wide. 
Views from the terrace are just superb. Breathtaking to say at least especially if you´re grabbing a wine glass in the infinite pool gazing the hilly region ahead of you.
Staff is courteous and attentive. Sometimes they were occupied with their friends (it was low season so the atmosphere were pretty much relaxed) but do not hesitate to spoil their fun. Maybe you are going to be invited to take a place on the table!
All in all this is a cozy place to rest some days off the region. Unfortunately I had just one single night there.
