Wonderful holidays in Kataragama. The place is perfect for staying several days, very cosy and comfortable, nearby Downtown and Yala National Park.

We spent two days in Kataragama Homestay. It was our the best accommodation!!! Close to jungle, with wonderfull view and climate. Sandun, owner of place was very friendly and helpfull for us. He arrange exciting Safari and show us how people live on Sri Lanka. He made delicious breakfest. It is excellent place to be near jungle, to chillout! Many thanks for Sandun!!!

The best accomodation in Sri Lanka!!!

We have been for two nights and it was fantastic! In the nature, but with the great family in modern room with modern bathroom. It was our choice because of the Yala park, which is very close. Friendly people, clean place and good food. Recomandation!!!

Beautiful and modern

Great place. Amazing nature. Small bungalow but building surprise when it comes to design and interiors. Superb terrasse. Comfy. Helpful host - he could organize best safari for his guests. Nice food. Super friendly family. Couldn't be better :)
Minus little difficult to find so ask for exact instruction.

Simply beautiful :)

Spent 2 nights with this lovely family, got nice welcome with tea and they were always there to help when needed. Rooms very clean and modern, airco and fan working good, clean bathroom (only minus point that there was no hot water which after a long safari day would have been appreciated). The family (grand)mother made 2 times excellent curry at night and also breakfast was excellent. We also did Safari day with the big brother and he made sure we had a great time and saw all animals. If going to Yala Park definitely a good way of doing so 👍🏼
