I have stayed at Nuwara Eliya homestay twice now and on both occasions have found it to be very welcoming and comfortable. It feels like home from home 
Amali treats everyone as an individual and will do her best to meet your needs. 
You have a great breakfast, reliable hot water, and a living room with a TV 
There are also plenty of things to do and see in the area. They can help you with reasonably priced transport if you want it

A 1 st class home stay

This is the second time we have stayed here and we have thoroughly enjoyed it both times. Roshan and Amali, who run this homestay are lovely, and will always go out of their way for guests. They will arrange transport to local attractions, and onward journeys, at a reasonable rate. Amali makes amazing breakfasts which she varies every day.

The first time we stayed four years ago, I injured my leg, and they went to great lengths to look after me. When we came back they were very pleased to see me!
. 
The rooms are clean and comfortable with ensuite bathrooms and hot water. There is a lovely sitting/dining room with comfortable chairs, TV, and facilities for making drinks. 

This homestay feels like home from home, and I cannot recommend it highly enough!

A lovely homestay 

We spent 2 nights here in 2 of the 3 rooms. Everything was clean and tidy. Very well appointed with filter machine for hot and cold water, travel extension leads, good WiFi etc. We had early starts on both mornings and the packed breakfast was super. Highly recommended Homestay 

Very accommodating host

My partner and I loved our stay in Nuwara Eliya. The rooms were tidy and clean. The breakfast was sensational! We were served a huge Sri Lankan breakfast with fresh juice and tea and coffee. 
After a mis-hap at a previously booked hotel, we came to Nuwara Eliya home stay hoping they had rooms available and Rebecca, the owner, made it so easy for us. She recommended the best places to go and the best way to get there, which we found really helpful. This place is great value for money!!!

Great place to stay in Nuwara Eliya

Amazing place to stay and visit in Nuwaraeliya. Very Delicious breakfast and  room facilities for the reasonable rates.I can recommend this is the best homestay than other in the Nuwaraeliya .Owner and their hosts are very friendly and curtesy to the guest when Arrival to Departure.Location also very beautiful and closer to the city. 

Amazing Hospitality and Best breakfast in Nuwaraeliya 

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the wife who went through a very thorough orientation of the home and local area attractions and restaurants.  Super helpful and friendly as they organized all of our transportation needs.  Rooms were clean and comfortable.  Nice common sitting area with a television and dining table.  Breakfasts were simple but good.  Location is about a 10 minute walk to the central area.  Overall, an enjoyable stay.

Very Nice Homestay!

Roshan and his wife are  incredible hosts. This is a safe place to stay.  The place is quite near to the town so that you can walk withing  5-10 minutes. There are four rooms and ,  these rooms have separate access so that guests have their freedom on coming in and out.

They prepared breakfast for us as packets since we requested. it was very helpful. 

Rooms are nice and clean. If you wish for a bit of a view then choose the room in up front. They got cable TV with most of the channels you hope for. Drinking water is provided and there is a dining area where you can bring your own food.

All in all  I recommend this place. 

- Last bit on the road is not paved , but can be manageable for a car.

Good Safe Place to Stay

This is a hidden gem in Nuwara Eliya. We stayed for 6 nights and it was easily the best place we stayed during two months in Sri Lanka. 
The hosts Amali and Roshan went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that we were comfortable and well catered for. 
They organised guided trips to Worlds End and local beauty spots and tea factories. When I injured my leg following a fall they went out of their way to provide every possible assistance. 
Added to this - we got a different breakfast every day and they were all delicious!
Also - there is a nice sitting room where you can sit and chat with the other guests - or just drink tea!
If we could give them 6 stars then we would!

Best homestay in Sri Lanka 

This homestay is the upstairs portion of a large home and has three rooms available. The hosts are lovely and check in was very helpful for planning our time in the area. Tuk tuks were organised for us and fare prices given so there was no confusion. 

The room has a small en-suite bathroom but it had everything we needed. There is a nice communal lounge area with tv, plates, cups and cutlery and water etc. Wifi was intermittent and generally weak although it worked sometimes.

One thing to be aware of is that walls are thin and as we were staying here at the same time as a family with four children, it was noisy, especially when they arrived and ran around and talked for over half an hour at 2am. 

Our host packed a breakfast box for us to take when we left at 6am for the Horton Plains. The second morning we ate at the homestay. It was a big breakfast of potato curry, rice, sambal, eggs, yogurt, juice, tea and bananas. Very nice.
