Really wonderful home stay! Set in a lovely quiet spot just off the main road. Family are really friendly and welcoming and teaching you lots of their language. The breakfast is huge and delicious and you can have dinner here too which is delicious! You can arrange a car trip with the main owner around Sigiriya and Polo for an amazing 4000 Rupees which was a wonderful way to see comfortably two of the major cultural triangle sites in one day! Such a great family and place highly recommend!

Were so hard working always on their feet and so pleasant and welcoming whenever we asked anything 
Bombay duck fry and potato chilly and aloo paratha were the best that I have tasted and will visit this place only because of it again😊
It's made so beautifully on top with cottages and trees the pathway 
Pool is clean 
Food is good 
Only one of the cottage ac wasnt working and hot water wasnt coming but the boys did their best to give us a lovely stay must visit place clean and peaceful 

Awesome trip with savee

This  homestay is really nice! I arrived in the afternoon and went to the Golden temple around 16.00, a perfect time to go because it's not that hot anymore to climb the steps (it's not as hard as I was excpecting grom all of the reviews) 
The owner arranged a tuktuk driver for me and also for Sigiraya. 
When I got back from the golden tempel there was a huge dinner waiting for me, wayyyy to much but really Nice food. 
The rooms is Nice, quiet and clean! The showen has hot water.
Only one little thing, it's a bit  away from the town, but for me it was perfect because i only stayed in Dambulla to visit the Golden tempel en Sigiraya. You deffinately don't have to go search for a restaurant obviously ;-)

A very Nice, clean and quiet homestay.

we arrived late in the night and the owner was very kind and helfpul. We were accommodated into two separate rooms, nice and clean. Fan was working very well so we didn't need of a/c. Breakfast was sumptuous and tasty.  Even though owner doesn't speak english, he and his family can help you on everything. I even got a short/super strong massage with a green gel as my back was painful. Suggest to stopover there when passing by Dambulla.

i booked i room on the 27 june 2018 which is a public holiday in sri lanka. when arrive late night for check in no body was present at the home to welcome & both the  phone Numbers to contact the owner was switched off. my name is yehan fernando my ph: no: +94711119326.

very cheap owner

terrible noisy from the surrounding area of savee village its a small home stay located in country side bit away from the main street of dambulla. its running by a nice family, even the owner doesn't speak speak much of english the son helped us to give the information. two nights we stayed but it was really terrible since early in the morning 4.30.and 5.30 am there is noise of chanting of the temple and the neighbors playing very loud music this is happening everyday in the morning and in the evening and they really know how to spoil a vacation of a person. because of the background noise i we are really disappointed and never i will recommend this place to any one who is looking for a stay for relaxation.
