Me and my friend stayed at this homestay for 4 nights and we had a lovely time. 
We were very impressed with the room for the price. We had a spacious room, nice bathroom and a balcony with an amazing view! And the bed was big, comfy and clean:) Also the who run it are very kind and willing to help with whatever you need. 
The homestay is only a 5 minute walk to the town!

Amazing view

Guest house run by a Sri Lankan family and his son. They are extremely lovely and helpful. The son has a tuktuk and offered to drop us and pick us up from Ella town anytime. 

Rooms have hot water and they very clean . 
We had tea, coffee, srilankan pancakes and toast for breakfast with a mixed fruit juice.

The location is a bit inland but by tuktuk is only 2 minuts from Ella Town. Very easy

Cute sri lankan family and nice views guest house

I spent a wonderful time in Ravenna Guest house. I was not living there... but at the beginning of the pandemic, some friends did during several weeks ! We were often meeting at this place to cook all together in the outside kitchen! The family took care about us as if we were part of their own family! Thank you very very much! You are a fantastic family! Such understanding, kindness and solidarity was a very precious gift in those time of international crisis. It is a beautiful exemple of Sri Lanka heart, spirit and soul!!! Thank you for your trust, your sharing and your light ! Living around you was fabulous ! The mum is a great cook, the view on Ella Rock is really nice, monkeys are living by, beautiful nature and peace are surrounding you!! I recommend this place to anyone! I hope I will be able to visit you soon :) Take care! Maahi 

Beautiful people, beautiful place

Best place to stay in Ella!!! Big rooms, super comfy beds, amazing views, warm shower, delicious meals, lovely hosts...everything you need in a guesthouse. Will surely stay here again when back in Ella

Best place to stay in Ella!

I can say that Raveena's guesthouse has been the most helpful place during the covid situation, i was stuck in Ella for over 2 months without being able to move or go out, and this beautiful family took me and my partner in for the entire time with no charge! So we stayed in their luxury room with the most comfortable (real) mattress and modern bathroom, with a balcony, waking up to the most beautiful view of the fog and tops of trees, monkeys coming right there to say hello! Haha. Raveena is the best cook, she taught me to make roti, sambol, kola kenda, and shared many different curries with us along with one last big meal before we departed. The place is 10 minutes away walking from the main crossroad by a cute trail that crosses a small river so its very convenient cause you are so close to town but dont have any noise and feel rigt in the middle of nature, and on the roof you can see the stars whenever the sight of green becomes too much.
We are eternally gratefull to this family, Amith, his mom and dad, and we can ensure you will feel right at home cause thats what it was for me. Hope you enjoy your stay in the best guesthouse in town!!

Best luxury room in town!

We stayed here during Corona times almost 2 month. We couldn’t imagine a better place to be stuck. The owner and his family is amazing, and they made our stay during this time like at home from home. They helped us a lot, they provided us with the most delicious food which we had in Sri Lanka!! 

The view is on Ella Rock and breathtaking, the rooms well equipped (watercooker, fridge etc) and very clean. 

We will definitely come back and we are so grateful to meet and stay such a long time with you! Stuti Damla & Patrick

Amazing Place, Host and homemade Food

The view is amazing from all the rooms, the bed is super comfortable, everywhere is so clean, foods are so tasty, just 5 minutes away from town by walking and hosts are the best who I’ve ever met! So there are all the things what you wish from one guesthouse in Ella. We were so happy to stay in this beautiful place. I will definitely come back here 💚

Amazing!!

The Raveena Guesthouse is located on the slopes of a hill overlooking Ella Rock,in the midst of trees with monkeys and butterflies everywhere. A tuk tuk will pick you up on the main road to reach the guesthouse. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, with a private balcony with the most amazing views of Ella Rock and the surrounding area. The owner, Mr Upasena, showed us around proudly. And proud he should be! He and his wife, Mrs Gunaratne, welcome everyone as old friends, we will never forget the honest hearted hospitality of the owners of the Raveena Guesthouse. We had dinner here both nights and the food cooked by Mrs Gunaratne is absolutely delicious, do let them know if you want to eat there and you won't be disappointed. And if you stay here, sit on the balcony in the evening, in the dark, and you'll be surprised by the most amazing light display of hundreds of fireflies!

True Srilankan hospitality in a peaceful setting

I stayed here for one night after having to check out from another hotel next door. I’m so glad I found this place. The owners are so sweet and helpful - they found me a guide for Ella rock who was great and very reasonably priced. The room was one of cleanest I’ve stayed in Sri Lanka. Super clean and very comfortable. And the cherry on top was the view of Ella rock from the balcony. Don’t miss this place :-)

Hidden gem!

I arrived in town and looked at a tonne of places and this was hands down the best spot and for a good price.

Amazing view, quiet, birds, frogs, monkeys, extremely clean, comfy bed, amazing terrace, assume breakfasts - I could go on.

Only 5 rooms and location is strategic for Little Adam’s, Nine Bridge and Bus Stop headed south.

I was here for 3 night and could have stayed 30.
