We came here from the US where a "suite" nowadays is just a slightly larger room with a divider, so we were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and luxuriousness of this property. These units were converted from 19th century workers' "room and a kitchen" apartments, which makes the building very charming. There's a kitchen, bath, and bedroom on the first floor. Bedroom has a "real" queen-sized bed, not the two twin beds put together that you often get in Nordic countries. Best part is the ground floor underneath the original apartment, which  has been excavated to make room for a living room / spa area. Each unit has its own whirlpool tub and sauna. There's access to the back garden from the ground floor, which gives you a nice place to have coffee or a drink in nice weather.

The property is located in a quiet area away from the city center, but there is easy access by tram line #2. It runs directly to the train station and to Korsvagen, which is the first airport bus stop in the city. The tram gives you good connections to all the main sights of the city. For those who choose to drive, the property has free, gated parking, which is otherwise non-existent in Gothenburg.

The facilities are one thing, but it's owner Roxanne who really makes this place great. She was friendly and helpful, and even came out to help my wife who is recovering from knee surgery one day when she had trouble getting up the hill to the building. The breakfast she provides is simple, but more than adequate. We stretched it out for a couple of days breakfast plus one day of lunch.

The drawbacks are minor. One was the overly complex lighting system--couldn't ever remember which switches worked which lights, and the only way we could figure out to turn on the bathroom mirror light was from the kitchen! Also, while the kitchen has state-of-the art appliances, cooking utensils are limited.This won't be an issue for most people, as there are good restaurants and carry-out places within easy walking distance. Overall, I highly recommend this property for a Gothenburg stay.

Much more here than "suites"

This was the best hotel ever!! The apartment had all mod cons that you could ask for, LCD tv's in all rooms, sono music system in all rooms, the lights, coffee machine - everything thought through. And then... the amazing spa in your own apartment just down the stairs. A sauna, the spa bath and your own patio. In the fridge was breakfast stuff and there was also fruit and crisps. When we arrived Roxanne showed us how everything worked - so nice and friendly. It's location is also perfect so close to everything but still so nice and peaceful. We will be back!!!

Amazing

This is without doubt the best equipped apartment we have ever stayed in, where do I start. There is a great kitchen with everything you could imagine you would need for a self catering apartment, including a nespresso coffee machine. There was a comfortable lounge seating area, a lovely comfortable bed with on suite shower room. But best of all there was a stairs from the bedroom down to a lower level with another larger shower room, a decent sized sauna and an amazing 2 person spa bath set in what I can only describe as an underground cave. There are areas of the upper floor which are clear glass, and the whole bedroom as an opaque glass floor, which adds the quirkiness. There is a Sonos music system with speakers in every room. The whole apartment was spotlessly clean. The location is great, easy walking distance to the city Center, approx 20-30mins, but there are many bars and restaurants nearby. The owners were fantastic, lovely friendly interesting people, who offered us great advice on places to visit and eat. They even provided us with some essential food products, such as milk, juice, cheese, bread, cereals, beer and more, amazing.

Amazing apartment 

This is a gem that could not be better. The geographical coordinates are good, and the place is incredibly peaceful for an urban location. The apartment is the best of its kind: we thoroughly enjoyed everything - the sauna, the kitchen, the jacuzzi, the garden. The interior is very elegant, and everything is very well taken care of. In Swedish terms: absolut, absolut toppen.

Perfection

Yes this is an appartment with jaccuzy. All HIFI you can think of and modern design. very very confortable. that is a place to go for a few fays as a par. really it is a romantic place. breakfast was very light thought... bit i will be back
