Everything, you have what you need, nice bathroom, confortable beds, everything clean, apple and water from the house ☺️, simple and tasty breakfast,nice staff....but I will put all of this after the location which is outstanding, in this location we will experience ''the voice of God'' which is silence 🙂, just the birds and the cows bells will interfere in this atmosphere 🤭.Thank you for everything!❤️

With the team of Thomas, Sandy, Nikkilas, Natalia and all the others, being so accommodating and genuine, how could I not enjoy my stay? Fabulous mountain hut, fabulous staff. There is no noise pollution here; just the lull of the meandering stream and cow bells in the distance. There is no light pollution; just the stars in the sky. And fresh air! The rooms are spacious, each have grand balconies, and snuggy beds. 

Home in the Mountains!

This is a great location as a departure point for the Furggli pass towards Matten and Lenk. The staff in the hotel were unfailingly friendly and helpful.  The rooms are attractive and the restaurant is of very good quality. A quiet, open location yet easily accessible from Adelboden centre by foot or bus.

I ended up here at a last minute booking. The staff are so friendly, the restaurant so nice and the location fantastic. I was given a renovated room with a beautiful bathroom.I had the Lohner Room on the second floor. I did not see the other rooms but my room was really excellent. I could live in it.

Really friendly and comfortable

I stayed here for 3 nights, the new refurbished rooms are to a great standard, you want to ask for one of these! over the summer I believe more will be refurbished. 

A very tranquil, typical swiss wooden design, the food is great and the staff are very kind and always greet you well. There is nothing wrong with what they offer here I would definitely recommend.

Weekend stay

Stayed here for work purposes for the Alpine World Cup. Excellent food, staff, cleanliness. I actually couldn't fault it. Accommodated our early breakfasts and late dinners without the slightest hint of bother. Facilities are great and the food was fantastic. Really enjoyed it!  

Excellent 

We walked from Adelboden to Geils and back (about 5 hours and very pleasant). On the return trip between Berglager and Adelboden walking along the Gilsbach river and nearing Adelboden, there is a sign to say "Gelato ice cream 300 meters". The sign  points to a foot track that takes you to this appealing hotel. You can easily access the hotel by road as well, of course .
There is a large selection of flavours. We chose passion fruit and hazelnut. It was equally as good as the best Gelato in Italy. You can have your ice cream seated, either inside or in their garden, or take it away in a cup or a waffle cone. We paid 3.3 Swiss franks per scoop - very reasonable.
The service was very warm and friendly.
(Outside is a sign offering motorised bicycles for rent). 
It was a lovely break to our hike and I would certainly recommend their Gelato ice cream .
