What was good

Ok, first and foremost the location and the cleanliness was good. The hotel owner/manager has a great taste for antiques and clocks in particular. You will find them everywhere. The view from the room on third floor was totally mesmerizing. Ofcourse, it was very closer to the Interlaken west station, so one can come and go to the station within 2-3 mins.

What was bad

The biggest disappointment was the Breakfast menu...and the rude server/ attendant over there in the restaurant during Breakfast times. I have the pictures attached of the stale fruits and porridge which were served everyday. The Quality and variety of the breads were compromised on all four times we had breakfast there. We couldnt eat much there and since we were travelling with our child, so only thing she could have there was Hot chocolate and boiled eggs. One day within their breakfast times we asked for boiled eggs so the server replied that the eggs are finished for the day. We had to leave and go out for breakfast. The porridge and fruits kept were so yucky by the looks of it. She used to mix the two flavours of yoghurt i.e Natural and strawberry/cherry into one. In such a small container for so many guests. Plus the scrambled egg was found burnt and brown most of the times and she used to serve plain boiled rice without anything, i mean who would eat it without any add on flavor. In other Hotels across Europe they would serve atleast 3-4 ready made varieties of breads/buns/muffins/pastries etc. Here they had only croissant. Problem was since we are mostly vegetarian with eggs so the hotel is not at all breakfast friendly. It was total waste of money on breakfast for 3 travelers for 4 days. Definitely would not recommend it to others.
