Hotel Eden's restaurant is not Chinese or Asian, but some of their dishes have Asian flavors and are very good.  We went there for a casual dinner recently and were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, so we decided to go back a few days later to celebrate Chinese New Year.  Their seared tuna coated in sesame is excellent.  The pan-fried sea bass with Asian sauce and seaweed salad was exquisite.  On both occasions, I had the same dishes and enjoyed them.  I also ordered 1/2 portion of everything which was quite sufficient and satisfying.

Great Chineses New Year Dinner

Enjoyed a wonderful afternoon in the warm waters of the large inside/outside pools and the  warm and peaceful relaxing room. I was visiting from America and this was a fantastic way to spend the first day of my 3 week Switzerland vacation! This is a lovely and tranquil spa experience that should not be missed. Best part--you don't have to be a hotel guest to enjoy this--there is just a fee for the use of this area.

Recommend for those that can enjoy a peaceful garden, old trees, flowers in a quite, reserved ambiance. Prices are adequate. Even moderated or lower sometimes with special offers.
Is one of my favorite places to swim in warm water (in-out pool) and my garden to have in Switzerland the Sunday brunch. 🌺🌺🌺

PS: not recommended with kids or if you enjoy only having young people around.

I recently spent a week at the Eden im Park hotel and was happy in all respects. 
The room and adjacent bathroom were well looked after and spacious, breakfast (included in the rate) ample, the staff very friendly and welcoming and the restaurant comfortable and ready to satisfy all kinds of special needs and demands. Will definitely go there again.

Better than four-star treatment at this **** hotel

This is really nice location and great hotel with excellent spa. Staff is very, very friendly! 
Our room was also very quiet, with a nice view and everything was working perfectly.
But: Breakfast ist not very impressive. The only warm items are tea, coffee and soft boiled eggs. So don't expect bacon, scrambled eggs, hush browns, pancakes, toast...
On the other hand there is a large selection of cereals (for those who like them :-)) and dairy products.
Also restaurant is excellent, timely reservation highly recommended (can be done at the reception). 
Prices are at the upper level even for Switzerland. If you plan to visit Basel, you get excellent train connections; station is just 5 minutes to walk.
Be sure to check their cancellation policy.
Bottom line: Excellent stay at appropriate price.
