Very clean room, king size bed ! They change the towels every day. The bathroom was perfect . Everything was new. Quiet neighborhood.  The only problem but not a big deal was the distance from the city center. We had our car so it wasnt problem. 

Perfect weekend

It's a basic hotel in the center of Paradiso.
Pros;
Near the shops, restaurants and the lake
Cheap Rate

Cons;
No hotel parking (Under construction)
Rooms (or what we took) didn't have aircontioning
Noises from the construction site can be heard from inside the room (morning)
Elevators are terrible

It's just basically a room with a bed and bathroom.

It's OK for ONE night

The hotel is just several blocks away from the lakeside. The price is quite low comparing to the neighbor hotels and the room is, however, surprisingly clean and tidy. The stuff is very friendly and helpful as well.

The drawbacks are that there is not internet connection and the wifi in the lobby is not so easy to be connected at least for me and my friend from the ipads. I have no idea if this problem is rare or common. The furniture is old and somehow a bit shabby, but it is not a serious problem.

After all, if order properly ahead, the hotel benefits you with a good location to the lake side at a quite good price. Personally suggest to those young people without a large budget but searching for a cosy place near the lake side.

Recommend for young people without a large budget

The hotel's advertising is a little misleading, but we were on a budget and just about put up with it for the two nights we were there. Once you get around the building site and navigate your way to the reception, you'll find a very dated hotel. 

Our room was at least clean, but was in desperate need of a refurbishment. One of the sheets had small holes in it, and a double bed consisted of two singles pushed together. The worst point was the lack of ventilation and the heat of the room. The bathroom turned into a steam room when the shower was used, and bedroom really needed A/C. It was cooler on the balcony than in the room, even though it was 30'C+ outside...not great for sleeping.

The staff were smiley and nice, but nothing more to add. If you can find a different place in the same price bracket, book it! If not, make plans to be out as much as possible during the day...

If you're on a budget it's OK...just.

Horrible hotel - more of a hostel. Nothing what was advertised. We checked in late and the only person on front desk was a janitor who did not know a word of english. NO air-conditioning and the bathroom was leaky - the room smelled stable and the towels were worn out. I look was depressing, I could not wait to check out in the morning. 
However, must recognize that the morning manager / owner (a lady) was extremely nice and refunded all money without my asking - this I found very credible and honest. 
So I do not think it is a scam - it is just a low tier hotel - I will not go there again but do appreciate and applaud their honest of refunding when I was not satisfied with what I got.
