Staff and management are amazing. Very polite and accommodating. The property is beautiful and gives you a feeling of being part of the history there. If you are going to Ayutthaya to see the ancient city, then a stay here is imperative to that experience.

Perfect place to to stay in Ayutthaya

We have recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and had a lovely stay. Ayutthaya is very busy and it was heaven to arrive at this gorgeous and charming Hotel which was a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle.
We loved the fact that is was on an island and felt that added to the experience.  You ring the staff and they pick you up by boat (promptly) when you got to the landing site ( they give you a phone with which to ring them). So you have lots of little boat rides! You can also ask with the hotel to arrange private boat rides for you if you wish, which we did on arrival while waiting to check in which was great.
The bedrooms were charming and comfortable with a separate private bathroom nearby. The breakfasts were good and we had some great evening meals at the hotel as well. The garden area is quiet and lovely overlooking the waterways. You can hear chanting from the nearby Buddhist temples. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, which really helped to make our stay so enjoyable as we felt well looked after. It was much appreciated. Highly recommend this Hotel.

Wonderful Hotel, highly recommend!

Charming natural wood rooms on a island adjoining historic Ayutthaya. A bit more rustic than it appears in the website pictures. Thin walls mean not much sound control or privacy. Rooms are either cozy or small, depending on your viewpoint. Small frig & hot water kettle. Nearby spacious  toilet & shower rooms. Comfortable beds, occasional mosquitoes, not full mosquito nettage, but wasn’t a problem. Excellent breakfast included (see picture). Gracious and helpful staff. On-request free boat shuttle to town 5 minutes. Lovely common area on the riverside. An atmospheric alternative to 5* hotels, if you expect and embrace the rusticity.

Charming rustic resort

This place is absolutely great. The hosts were really helpfull. Only to be reached by longtailboat. But whenever you want to go out (or come back) they'll make sure you are picked up. Lovely rooms with seperate bathroom (you need to go outside, but very close to your room). Breakfast and meals also really nice. I can really recommend this place!

Great place to stay!

This was our most expensive accommodation while in Thailand, was it worth it? Yes and no. The rooms are quite basic (though pretty and clean) and the toilets are a little walk from the room, the breakfast was nice but nothing special, though it was plentiful and they offered an American breakfast (sausage and eggs with toast, plus fruit, tea/coffee and a yoghurt) and a Thai breakfast (not sure what this entails!)

What drew me to this place was the authentic vibe that it had, and this didn't disappoint - the hotel is very pretty and feels very Thai, which is quite different to most of the modern westernised hotels/hostels that we stayed in everywhere else. The staff are friendly, and even though they don't speak great English they tried very hard and we managed to sort everything out in the end. There are two little dogs here, one of them, a chihuahua, is very friendly and I didn't want to leave purely because of the dog! The toilets don't have air con and there are a lot of flies around, so make sure to take insect repellent! I was a bit stressed about finding the place, since it's on a little island which needs a boat to get to, but this turned out to be quite easy - we asked a taxi driver to take us and she took us to the port, explained our situation to the people there and someone took us for free. I think usually people arrange a time with the hotel for collection, but we didn't and it worked out just fine. The hotel gives you a little mobile phone so that you can contact them for pick up whenever you want. Another thing I didn't like about the hotel was the distance from the centre, first of all you had to get the boat ride which was just extra hassle, it was nice the first time but to keep coming back and forth on it gets a bit annoying. Then it was about a 20-30 minute walk through non-touristy areas of Ayutthaya, which is fine in the day time but when we were walking back at night it wasn't ideal, especially because of all the packs of street dogs walking about - I'd definitely get a taxi next time!

Overall, I'd say this place has its nice points, but if I was to go back in time I think I would have stayed in a little guest house or hostel in the centre for much cheaper and much closer to the action. However, if you want a charming and authentic-feeling hotel, aren't that fussed about the cost and maybe have more time in Ayutthaya, then this place is probably for you.

Nice place, a bit expensive

We stayed for one night. Room is clean and helpful staffs. Kids love climbing up the stairs to our room  & enjoyed playing with their pets Sunny & Honey. Toilets and showers are a different building but is dedicated to your room just a few steps away.
Parking at the temple was a bit creeping as we were approached by a beggar but it was late. A kind soul there help assure us where to park. We had dinner there but the food was average but  you shd have drinks by the deck and watch the sunset. Lovely sight and very peaceful

Rustic Stay

My family just stayed here for one night. It was so amazing to stay in the lovely Thai rooms. Very different from your usual hotel. Beds were lovely and comfy and the staff were just great. The kids enjoyed playing with the pet dogs (not local stray dogs which are everywhere in Ayutthaya). Toilets and showers are ina different building, but just 5 metres away and not a problem to get to.
Although you have to be picked up by the hotels boat to get to the island, this was no issue at all and all I needed to do was call at the meeting point on arrival. The pier is easy to find as they sent the coordinates on Google maps. It is also just opposite a museum and really was no problems for us to get to.
They booked a boat ride for us and also minded our bags all day then delivered to us on the mainland when we had to return to Bangkok. 
The dinner was aaaamazing. I highly recommend eating there for a meal.
Loved it and would stay again.
