Great property and great hosts!
They make you feel like a pat of their family. Great food and a lovely pier make this place very special. The restaurant is right on the sea. A very special place where you feel like you are at home. Truly paradise.

Very nice resort
When I arrived I was already totally freaked put by all the bad reviews I only discovered after booking this, so it was a pleasant surprise to find a modern and clean room, easily and securely lockable with aircon and a private bathroom with functioning hot shower. Furthermore, the room is serviced

Why you should or shouldn't go here
It's a place you would love or hate. Why you can hate it?
-it's under stuffed. And that's why you can wait a lot no time for a shuttle taxi (it's just a track with wooden benches, which I loved, riding it was like a roller coaster).
Also that's why your food will come slow (on rainy day everyone had

Beautiful Resort with Nice Officer
We took a taxi from our hotel to the Cinnamon Art Resort. It was far from our hotel. We met the nice lady officer at the front office. She showed us the rooms and the pool. The pool was huge. The restaurant was beautiful. The pier is longest and nice in Koh Mak. However the beach was rocky.

Good if you know what to expect
Don't expect too much: this is not a 4 star but rather a 3 star.
But then the prices are not high which is good.
Don't expect too much from the rooms either, from the service or the quality of the restaurant...again, not a 4 stars.
But the location is awesome, the beach and the sea view amazing.

Restaurant no rice
We ordered tom yum and plain rice and pine apple fried rice. After waiting for half an hour, they told us there was no rice left. Tom yum was already prepared, the fried rice understandably not at all. The waiter suggested boiled noodle for plain rice substitute, which was something we didn’t want y

Friendly helpful staff in tired over priced resort
We stayed end January 2017.
We were hoping to stay elsewhere but were double booked by sawadee . com who quickly found space here at a time when most places were full. That said something
The resort was built about 7 years ago in what looks like a cleared mangrove. The beach was average (meani

Abandoned
Sadly, this place is necleted and left to crumble. Once you paid an entrance fee, you can walk out on the pier, which is not maintained, but was still safe to walk on. Facilities like restaurant and bar are closed, which is a shame given the view on the sea. The jungle takes it all back.
