Super hotel, really friendly staff, much better than 3 star, spa was great for massage and meals were fabulous and not expensive, wonderful riverside location with live music for dinner that blended in well. Very clean and delicious breakfast too

Super atay

Location can be the only issue, if you don't have a car and don't want to depend on taxis. On the other hand, beeing a bit (9 kms?) away from the center, turns this place very quiet, ideal for relaxing.
The hotel has 4, i think, two storey buildings, surrounded by very nice gardens.
Great big and deep swimming pool.
Rooms are classic decorated, with iold style furniture.
Great matress.
Small but ok toilet, with walk in shower.
Small tv with only one international channel.
Great breakfast, with western and asian dishes and all the other usual things, like bread (many options), fruit, coffee, milk, tea, hot chocolate, ordered made eggs, juices, etc.
Nice and not so expensive restautant by the river.
Discret and very friendly staff.

Great for relax

We stayed as part of a tour. The room was very nice and comfortable. We had a really nice dinner on the water at the hotel. The staff was excellent for both the hotel and the restaurant. We had taken a two hour train ride ending at the Kwai bridge prior to check in and the hotel was very relaxing.

Nice Stay

I feel that my one night stay at this wonderful resort deserves a positive review as everything there exceeded my expectations and travellers really should give this resort a try.

As I was visiting Kanchanaburi to visit the famous 'Bridge on the River Kwai', the war graves and museums, and 'Hell Fire Pass' and so sought somewhere to stay overnight to break to my 3+ hour trip from Bangkok.

I booked directly with the hotel rather than through one of the booking companies. 

On arrival I was greeted by the friendly staff and check in was efficiently completed quickly. The room was clean and spacious with a firm but comfortable super-king bed, and balcony overlooking the tropical garden area.

The outside restaurant overlooked the river and jungle beyond, and served an delicious variety of Asian food and very reasonable prices. There was also a very talented solo guitarist playing for several hours during the evening which added to the ambiance. The staff were all friendly and efficient.

My nights sleep was very peaceful and relaxing and not a sound could be heard outside.

Breakfast consisted of a variety of Asian and Western choices and was included in the price of the stay.

Overall, I was delighted with my choice of hotel in this area and would thoroughly recommend it.

Peaceful and Relaxing Stay

As a family of 3 adults, we got a very nice corner room on the first floor, all great. The pool is absolutely fantastic as well as the location, beautiful setting on the edge of the river and very nice Restaurant for Dinner. Staff very friendly and great ambience. Even a ping pong table which we enjoyed a lot :))

Great choice, highly recommendable

In my view, this represents fantastic value for money. The rooms are well maintained and modern. The showers and bathroom are excellent. The staff are quite delightful and the food is more than adequate. I take issue with the family who were critical of the food. We have stayed for two nights and I have enjoyed very decent food on both nights. The swimming pool is magnificent and there is a most relaxing atmosphere to the whole hotel. In the evening, there is an open restaurant area literally above the bank of the River Kwai. Dining by the edge of this historical  river with a gentle breeze blowing is an outstanding experience. We paid around £60 per room and for this money it is excellent value. I suspect some other reviewers are a little unrealistic about what you can get for this price. I would certainly come here again.

For the price it could well be the best in the area

WE stayed at this resort for 3 nights with friends.  The rooms are basic but very clean and reasonably spacious with a nice balcony.  The location of the hotel is stunning on the bank of the River Kwai.  There are not many better place to eat an evening meal.
The food was good with a reasonable selection.
The pool area was very nice , butt could probably do with a few more more beds at busy times.
Staff were helpful but some did not speak basic english.  This included the reception where it meant communication was difficult with some staff.
Overall a beautiful place to spend a few days and great vale for money.

Xmas in Thailand

This quiet hotel is located on the river bank.
The rooms are not large but suitable for a couple.
The rooms are nice, clean and pleasantly decorated
The pool is large, and breakfast is served in an open and covered area
In the evening you can sit in a restaurant by the river

We did 2 nights at the hotel with our family of 6 - the rooms are recently remodeled, super clean and are spread across a well-maintained garden that leads down to the river. Check in/out was easy, the rates were super reasonable, and the breakfast was impressive. The kids loved the pool, and we also had a good (albeit pricey for Thailand) dinner at the in-house restaurant on one of the nights. Service was friendly and we were a quick 10 minute drive to the center of town. While the rooms are remodeled, the beds weren’t the most comfortable, but overall we had a great stay and would happily come back.

Comfortable Family Getaway

Loved everything about this resort. stayed here twice. the room was spacious with the largest bed i have ever seen. The location is fantastic, the dinner by riverside is really good, the staff is extremely courteous and the entire area including the river bank is very clean. 
Only one suggestion, it would be great if they keep an electric kettle and a couple of tea/coffee sachets in the room.
