one of the best hotels I've been to. Very nice and helpful staff. The view is great. Definitely worth a visit! Some objects are unfortunately not flawless but usable. The breakfast is an open buffet and well covered.

This hotel can give you a room with the most incredible view to wake up to.....miles and miles of blue sea and sky. Perched on the hill above the small city of Amasra, this hotel allows you to escape the small, cramped pensions in the city. The rooms are large, clean and modern. There is a small, do-it-yourself hamam downstairs adjacent to a sauna, steam room, and workout center. There is a medium-large outside pool as well. Breakfast is great!

Beautiful View

this is outside of and up the hill from Amasra.  Its anti-COVID measures were very good.  It has a pool.  Its view over the Black Sea is beautiful.  It was clean, the A/C was efficient and the water pressure was excellent.  Breakfast was okay.  If I had kids who wanted pools, I would stay here again.

Serviceable hotel, good for kids.

We booked this hotel for one night when we had visited Amasra. First we saw the view of the sunset from the hotel terrace. It was stunning.
The room was spacious and clean.
Staff was kind but not so good in English. Breakfast was nothing special, more bad than good but you could find something to eat.
Overall if you take the price into an account this hotel is very good.

Good cheap stay 

This hotel looks and feels brand new. Whilst it is located a fair way up the hill out of town, it has marvelous views out to the Black Sea and nearby bays. Rooms are modern, light and airy with nice, clean bathrooms and wifi which works well. There is a terrace bar area on the ground floor where beer and soft drinks can be purchased, as well as a large dining room which only seems to be sued for breakfasts. We enjoyed this place very much and would happily stay there again.

Why would you go to Amasra for the food and the city center
This hotel is not in Amasra city center. It is on the way to Cakraz beach. Almost 1.8 km away from city. it is OK to stay as the price is OK
The rooms are not luxurious but clean
The breakfast in a great view available restaurant is OK but could be wag better

It is not in Amasra

To reach the Diamond Hotel Amasra, which lies high on a hill, you need a car. It takes more than five minutes by bus from the city centre to the Diamond. 
When we arrived they were playing very loud music at the swimming-pool, and that went on until past 10 pm. A few men were lingering around. 
My room had a so-called terrace. It was nearly completely empty because the table and chairs were standing on the teras. Nor were there any curtains on the windows, only the roller blinds you can see in the TA photo gallery. It was not very homely. 
The evening meal was opulent and tasty, the breakfast was okay. 
From the swimming-pool area you can see the Amasra peninsula very well, and you can watch the sun go down (or up).

On the rocks

The hotel has recently been rebuilt and offers spacious modern rooms with great bathrooms and fantastic views of the Black Sea if you are on the sea side. Some rooms have balconies over looking the pool and the sea. There is a lovely pool, although as with most otels in Turkey that offer swimming pools, the pool closes very early in the evening. The location is a little bit too far out of town to make walking down to the beach or restaurants practical. We did not try the restaurant for evening meals, but the breakfast was a standard buffet and the staff were friendly. The wifi was adequate, however it did drop out a little too often.
