I spent four days with my wife in this relaxing hotel. It was a pleasant surprise Immersed in absolute silence, we appreciated the kindness and discretion of the staff, as well as admired the works of the architect who have further improved the structure. In addition, we enjoyed the breakfast based exclusively on homemade products, while enjoying the fantastic view of the valley in front. I highly recommend it to those who want to spend a few days in absolute rest.

An oasis of peace

I LOVED this hotel. It's on the edge of the village with a lovely view over a valley. Very relaxed and quiet, with a nice breakfast and a lovely terrace for breakfast, drinks, dinner, or just reading a book.

There's lots of art scattered around: sculptures, quirky little touches, and hidden public rooms. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner and are a short walk from the village center. If, like me, you don't drive, the dolmus (public bus/van/transport) passes the hotel on the way to Kadirga beach, about 15 minutes away.

I will definitely go back!

Tastefully quirky and lovely

I'm guessing that you've never experienced anything quite like the Assosyal Otel. I know that we never had. 

You'll wind your way uphill through the village of Behramkale, feeling like you've gone back 100 years in a time machine. The front of the hotel is quite unassuming. At first glance it's just as modest as the surrounding houses of the village. But as you get out of your car, you'll notice a funkiness to the hotel's sign, and as you wind you way down the path you begin to see various sculptures and artistic touches on the buildings that tell you that you're not in Kansas anymore. 

The 'hotel' is not a single building but is instead a small campus/complex of little buildings grouped together. Sometimes it's hard to know if you're inside or outside, because everywhere you turn there's a new place to sit or something new to see and experience. The attention to detail was really appreciated and put a smile on our faces, as both my wife and I are in the design/art-related fields. 

Our room was very modern, comfortable, and clean. It opened up onto a back patio that extended across the back of the property and provided a spectacular view of the valley below. The bed was good, bathroom clean and usable. Water pressure was good, but the hot water was just okay, for some reason. WiFi was free, but it's strength was a little sporadic depending upon where you are on the room or on the property. 

Elsewhere there are many other rooms to explore at Assosyal. There are several sitting rooms, a TV room, and a dining room where we had a superb dinner cooked by the proprietor (who is a lovely, friendly woman who always had a big smile and was available to help in any way.) The breakfast was also excellent. 

Overall it was a very memorable stay at the Assosyal. We recommend it highly. 

Eclectic, in the best possible way

After arriving from a long drive from Istanbul we found we were the only guests for two nights. The lady who worked there was lovely and ran the restaurant herself, cooking an evening feast and a massive traditional breakfast. The kitchen produced lovely food. The rooms were beautiful, spacious and well facilitated. We loved the art and unique curiosities that littered this hidden beauty.
It's only a short drive down the hill from this little village of Behram to Assos, the fishing village full of character, fresh fish and relaxing restaurants.
A short walk to the top of the village leads you to the beautiful Ancient Greek ruins of the Temple of Athena, worth the time to walk around and take in the history and view. A hotel like you've never seen before, it's many lounge rooms, dining rooms, restaurant and even bar! is a gem in both winter and holiday seasons. I'm recommending it to my family and friends. 👌🏼

A big thumbs up in the slow season

Stayed in there during a national holiday and hotel's location is perfect, just at the entrance of Assos, so you don't have to walk after parking your car (there is very limited parking spots in the town so most people has to park at the entrance). The view of the hotel is very good even it is not toward the beautiful Aegean Sea. The hotel was very quite so if you want to relax it is a very good choice.
