Wonderful place to stay just on the edge of town. The owners and staff were very welcoming and accommodating to our little group of four.  (We were hiking the Lycian Way.)  I especially enjoyed the animals (sweet cats, kittens and a sleepy dog) that were integral to the location and fed by the caring staff. My room was lovely with a veranda and view of the refreshing pool beside fruiting pomegranate trees. The food in the restaurant was excellent (and I’m a vegetarian so sometimes hard to please).

Stay here!

Lovely place with a swimming pool, very friendly hosts. 
Delicious breakfast, fresh and juicy fruit and vegetables, grown by the family. We also enjoyed their lunches and beautiful dinners. 
Bus stop to take you to Patara beach outside the hotel. Bus goes every hour. You can also go to Kalkan beach by bus.

Lovely place

Wonderful family hotel. Comfortable rooms. Good wi fi and air conditioning. Great buffet breakfast, lovely swimming pool, friendly owners and staff. Good simple family  restaurant for evening meals. Good value.  Highly recommended..would return in a heartbeat.

Would stay again for sure

Absolutely beautiful hotel/pension. Lovely food in the attached restaurant, perfect buffet breakfast with masses of choice and good coffee. Family run and such caring owners and staff. Beautiful swimming pool and super comfortable rooms. Hugely recommended!

Wonderful don't hesitate

Stayed one night as part of our Lycian Way trip. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our room. It was spacious, immaculately clean, plentiful hot water, and with a nice balcony overlooking the pool. As we were early in the season, the pool was not in use. We ate here too and the food was tasty and plentiful, the wine good. This is a great location for access to the ruins of Patara at which we spent three hours wandering around. It is also good for access to the beach.

Perfectly Patara.

We stumbled upon the St Nicholas Pension while driving into Patara searching for a place to stay. We are so glad we did. The swimming pool was very new and clean and beautiful - the kids enjoyed it. They also loved playing with the kitten and cats on the patio. 

We regretted going elsewhere for dinner in Patara, it was not a great experience and when we returned the hotel had put a lovely dinner together and other guests were enjoying the food and the views. I recommend eating onsite. 

The family running the place is very gracious and eager to be sure you are comfortable. We will definitely return. 

Delightful stay

Some places just have "it" and some do not. This nice friendly family place certainly has it in spades. Ticks every box: comfortable good size room with good bed and bathroom, hot water with good pressure,AC, balcony and lovely pool. Much better value from another property up the hill offering a point of view. As a bonus they also appear to have the best resaurant in town!



This is "it"

What a fantastic hotel! The best place we stayed in in Turkiye. Spacious room, great view, nice pool, conveniently located, friendly staff and an outstanding breakfast - there was even espresso-based coffee! I cannot recommend St Nicolas Pension enough.

Fantastic stay

 This our second visit here and can highly recommend staying here for visiting Patera and Kalkan.  You can walk to the wonderful beach and antiquities at Patara.  However, transport by dolmus to Kalkan or the beach, is both easy and inexpensive.   The quality of our rooms along with its facilities and food were far above what you would normally expect in a pension.  Gokhan, the manager was genuinely friendly, professional and helpful throughout, ensuring for everything you could hope for. All the staff shared the same qualities as Gokhan.

Patera & Kalkan gem

We were there 3 nights to trek the Lycian way. We enjoyed the hospitality of all the employees. The room was confortable  and the breakfast great. The restaurant menu is complete and everything we took was tasty. We got good advices about the trail and the things to see in Patara. We would go back anytime.
