We came here as a first visit to Bursa- this hotel is in an absolutely stunning location , just a few minutes walk from all the shops , cafes , bakerys. The hotel is beautifully designed and rich in history linked to the silk road (ipekyolu) 
We loved our time here , and Mustafa - a staff member- helped us in every way that he could. Thank you so much for making it such a cosy and enjoyable stay , we loved it here. Çok teşekkür ederiz!!!

Staff are very friendly and helpful. 
The place is very clean, quiet and beautiful  🤩.

A very beautiful city with beautiful historical buildings

Really good for the price. Perfect location, basic but sufficient amenities, charming decorations. It's quite big as a family run boutique hotel but it's well managed. I'm not a big fun of too much friendliness which I sometimes get from boutique hotel owners but they weren't any too much so it was good.

When we arrived there was a girl on the reception who was rude and unfriendly. The rooms were shabby boutique style which was very nice but the bathroom was bad the shower was small the toilet seat didnt close properly we had to make sure we always closed the toilet door because it stunk of drains. Other than that the location was great.

We stayed at the Ipekyolu Hotel for two nights at the start of a month long driving holiday in Turkey. It’s a simple, cute place, run by a nice old couple. Although they don’t speak English (and we don’t speak Turkish), communication was fine, and they looked after us well during our stay. Good central location.

Our room was quite basic but clean, and fine for our needs. Plenty of hot water in the bathroom, although the shower cubicle was pretty cramped. I’m a slim male - I’m not sure how a larger lady would cope!

The traditional Turkish-style breakfast was served at a table outside in the courtyard. This was fine in spite of the fact that we had a spot of rain both mornings.

Unfortunately, the WiFi wasn’t great whilst we were there.

Not entirely sure where to start with this review, but how about with check-in where we were treated to immediate, nervous demands for payment in cash by a gentleman who appeared to be playing the part of a hotel manager...and poorly at that. Next, we can go right to the argument he had with a woman I assume to be his wife, and yes, this was right in front of us, after the twitchy demands for cash payment. The room was as advertised and the a/c worked well which was merciful since we stayed during two of summer's hottest days and with as busy as the industrial neighborhood is where the hotel is situated, there was no way we could leave the windows open. Other highlights - rarely seeing staff wearing masks; watching this one man run around frantically doing work while other staff lounged about; being treated to two staff members eating breakfast with us in the dirty breakfast room (not at all as advertised in photos), a nicer breakfast then what they served us while leaving the desk vacant. Oh, and lest I forget, the very strange cleaning lady who knocked on our door and insisted on entering, (which we did not allow), and demanding she get our laminated menu of mini-bar items. Admittedly, there was a language barrier here as we don't speak Turkish and nobody in that hotel spoke enough English, so yes, I accept some responsibility here. At the same, time folks, there is the language of hospitality and the idea of making guests feel calm, welcomed, and taken care of...or at least pretending to do so. This crew, while entertaining, have no business in running a hotel and this is patently obvious - in any language. There are many other options in Bursa - pick one of them and steer clear of this circus, it's not worth the price of admission.
