We stayed for three nights whilst visiting family in the area.  First class accommodation with every attention to detail. Separate to main house with two rooms with their own outside access. Innovative ‘bathrobe breakfast’ with pantry filled daily with your pre selected choice.  Covid taken very seriously and we felt very safe.

Very enjoyable stay

We stayed for four nights and used Axminster as a base to explore the local area. Prestoller House was excellent -  very comfortable beds, and everything you could need. The breakfast in the room was lovely with delicious fruit salad, tasty homemade bread and a little egg cooker. 

Caroline and Adrian were lovely. Caroline was great with communications and full of recommendations. You could tell how much effort had gone into making it Covid-safe, everything was spotless and contact free. We had no worries at all about staying here with that at all. As the nights were getting cooler, it would have been nice to have our own control over the heating, but a text to Caroline was all that was needed to have it switched on. 

A word of advice to anyone staying here... open the window or door before using the toaster if you like quite toasty toast! Thankfully Caroline was very gracious about me setting the smoke alarm off at 9:30am!

Lovely stay in a beautiful place

We stayed here for 2 nights back in mid July to attend a cooking course at River Cottage (very convenient 5 min drive away!) Caroline was an excellent host and made every effort to make us feel comfortable and safe amidst COVID-19 restrictions. The 'bathrobe breakfast' was a great initiative and we appreciated being able to have breakfast in our own room. I would highly recommend this B&B - super comfortable beds, clean and great location.

Lovely 2 night stay

Stayed here 10th to 13 th August.Spacious clean room separate from the main house.superb , everything you need to have a comfortable stay.great selection of coffees and tea. The ample breakfast in your own pantry and refrigerator 

3 Day break 

We happened to stay at this delightful B&B whilst visiting friends in Devon. I honestly don't think we could possibly fault the experience. Our room was incredibly immaculate, warm and inviting with modern facilities to boot. The hosts were charming, witty and attentive without being too "in your face".

Simply, a joy!

The accommodation was perfect in every way. We were given a very warm welcome by Caroline and Adrian. They couldn’t do enough for us and Adrian’s breakfast was delicious. We were sorry that we could only stay one night. Can recommend unreservedly. Brigitte & Gary

Beautiful place to stay

Prestoller house is a wonderful place to stay. Perfect for trips to River Cottage. Me and my husband spent 1 night in the Devon room and it was absolutely perfect. Bed & linen were wonderful. Lovely big fluffy towels. A really personal experience. Caroline & Adrian are a wonderful couple. Special mention to the breakfast which was utterly outstanding! Everywhere was absolutely spotlessly clean! Cant wait to come back!

A wonderful stay!

Excellent spotless B&B in a lovely location. Bedroom was large with it's own small lounge area. Caroline & Adrian were very attentive and ensured everything was perfect. They were amazing hosts. The tea & coffee facilities and the superb breakfasts were most enjoyable. We had lots of chats, especially over breakfast, and really enjoyed their company. We stayed here for a long weekend and would highly recommend this B&B. One of the best we have stayed in. 

Excellent and Perfect

Absolutely perfect in every way. 
Could not fault their accommodation as it was apart from the main house and beautifully decorated with a fabulous shower( much needed after a days cycling)and catering for all needs of coffee and tea drinkers.
They were able to lock our bikes up safely and an excellent stop off route following NCN Route 2 on our way to Exmouth/Exeter. 
Their hospitality was faultless, breakfast served with every taste in mind and gluten free without a problem. 
If you like a good chat over breakfast then they are your dream couple and very informative of the local area and beyond . 
We will definitely pay them a visit again and I hope if you visit Caroline and Adrian, you will have the same opinion as us.

Cycle Holiday

Wonderful B&B. Caroline and Adrian were great hosts for our one night stay. Lovely, quiet and private rooms kept to hotel standard. Adrian cooked an impressive breakfast. Well located for River Cottage!
