A last minute booking, to stay here in Bala, a lovely 17 century house, which sits at the top of the town of Bala and looks over to the lake, both Veronica and Paul were lovely and very welcoming to there bb, and offered information on the surrounding area and places to eat on the Main Street in Bala, and we had a really lovely English breakfast to send us on our way, and a friendly chat before we left about things and life in general, really lovely people.

A very friendly welcoming stay

We stayed here last week in a room with a lovely view of the lake.Everything was clean,and the bed was extremely comfy.We only stayed one night so we didn't take advantage of the two lovely lounges with books aplenty.The breakfast was amazing,the selection of fruit was fantastic,better than I have ever seen at any hotel.The cooked breakfast was perfect too.

Lovely welcome

We booked this on line whilst away for a few days in north Wales, and what a wonderful place this is, despite the steep drive up.
We were welcomed most warmly by the proprietor Veronica Short, and shown round this old, and very beautiful house. Two relaxing lounges for guests, plus a dining room overlooking the patio, and the incredible view down into the town of Bala below.
Our bedroom was superb, with a huge double bed, and very comfortable surroundings. Plus the usual tea/ coffee makings items. Bathroom ok, but a temperamental shower. Breakfast was extremely tasty, and lots of it.
The suggestion of where to eat in the evening  ( The Bistro) down in Bala was just the best, and a must if wish for a very good meal.
We cannot recommend this place highly enough. 

Wonderful suprise!

We stayed in a beautiful room with an amazing view of the lake & mountains. The room was very clean and has everything you need. Veronica was a wonderful hostess, very kind & helpful. The breakfast was delicious. We would highly recommend this B&B and will certainly be visiting again. 

Fabulous 

Excellent location overlooking lake Tegid and Bala town. Great welcome from mine host Veronica, two lounges to relax in, good sound sleep as there is no passing traffic.
Breakfast was great, a marvellous selection ranking with the best.
