I’m normally not one to write reviews but found Leighmore so bad I had to. 
We were attending a wedding and staying over as room can be booked at wedding rate. When paying for room discovered wedding rate was 45p cheaper than booking direct. 
The meal was lovely and vegan diners catered for exceptionally well, despite what appeared to be wood chips in the soup. 
Bar staff where telling guests they didn’t have certain spirits we could easily see sitting behind the bar and sighed when asked for a frozen cocktail that was on their menu as this obviously takes more effort to make. 
The rooms are beautifully decorated however, the mattresses are not that comfortable (travel lodges are better), and the beds are small as both mine and my husbands feet hung out over the edge. 
Breakfast the next day was told my room
Had already came down for breakfast and they had someone else’s name down against my room despite me stranding there with the room card eventually they let me have breakfast. 
The food was your typical hotel breakfast but smaller than expected but the sausages had a very weird taste to them and don’t recommend them.
The receptionist on at checkout was grumpy, not well presented for front of house and was yawning at me whilst trying to checkout.
Personally for what you get it is very over priced and definitely would not be returning.

Overpriced and wouldn’t go back

Attended my nieces wedding here on 1/4/24 and what a great day we had, cannot fault a thing from venue decor, food which was 100% amazing and hot and kids meals were excellent, staff were very friendly and attentive nothing was too much bother so thank you for making what was an already very happy day even better .. highly recommend this hotel

Highly recommend for wedding

We had our wedding here on the 1st march. We had the most perfect day from start to finish. The staff could not have been more helpful and everyone remarked on how amazing the food was. Patricia and her team are just amazing. Would highly recommend this venue

Wedding, best day ever

We had both our ceremony and wedding in the Leighinmohr in December 2023.  The staff at the Leighinmohr couldn't do enough for us.  From the moment we booked the hotel up until we left the day after our wedding.  A special mention to Patricia who made sure the day ran smoothly.  The hotel has a very homely atmosphere which gave us such a relaxed and enjoyable day, just what we wanted.

Amazing venue who did everything possible to make sure we had the most amazing day!  Patricia and the team went over and beyond to make it so special.  Room and venue was set up spectacularly on the day we were blown away with the hall! Food incredible.  List of approved suppliers who hotel recommended were all amazing and it all came together to make our day so special.  Would recommend to anyone who is looking for that perfect wedding venue!!

Wedding - Best day ever

We had our wedding reception at Leighinmohr House Hotel on 20th April 2023, and we honestly can not recommend it enough! 
When I initially contacted the hotel (September 2022) I advised Nikki that we were interested in getting married the following year, she provided us with several dates and arranged our consolation. Nikki was amazing, she was so friendly and quickly put us at ease. We had attended a bridal fair at the hotel earlier that year so we had a good idea of the package we were interested in so Nikki went through everything with us and gave us another tour of the hotel.
Patrica was our wedding coordinator, was also amazing and so helpful with any of our needs, nothing was too much trouble. We had several guests with dietary requirements who Patricia and her team made sure they were looked after on the day. She provided us with a checklist which was so helpful, especially as closer to the wedding things can often be missed/forgotten. 
The hotel itself is absolutely stunning with a garden along the river, where we had our wedding photo's taken. All of the hotel staff are so friendly and attentive. When we arrived on our wedding day we were shown around the room, everything was absolutely perfect and laid out exactly as we had requested. 
The food was fantastic, all our guests mentioned to us throughout the evening about the food. With many still talking about the food several months later and a few are now regulars at the Clock House Restaurant (including ourselves). 
If you are recently engaged and considering the Leighinmohr, I would highly recommend getting in touch as it is the perfect place reception with several packages to choose from. Our day was perfect from start to finish, and I can not thank everyone at the Leighinmohr for everything.

Wedding Day - Amazing from start to finish

My husband and I had our wedding reception in The Leighinmohr House Hotel on the 17th July 2023 and we wouldn’t change a thing about our whole experience with the hotel and the staff. From the first day we met Nikki who explained all of the wedding packages (which are so affordable and include everything you need) and showed us around the hotel, to meeting up with Catherine our wedding co-ordinator to discuss our day and then all of the staff on the wedding day, nothing was a bother to anyone. 

We have had many family members and friends say how well they enjoyed the day, how amazing the food was, how smoothly everything went, bearing   in mind we had over 200 guests at our reception and that was all down to the staff at The Leighinmohr. We can’t thank them enough for helping us to bring our vision to reality and for helping us enjoy our special day and be able to relax knowing that everything was in safe hands. Our wedding day 17th July 2023

We had our wedding reception here at the end of May 2023. The whole experience from when we had our initial consultation with Nikki in October 2021 to the big day was fantastic and nothing was ever too much trouble. 
Nikki was brilliant in our initial viewing of the hotel talking us through how the day will work, what our options were and even suggested lots of vendors for us. After we left the viewing that day we thought we would look at another view hotels first but we didn’t even get 5 minutes from the hotel when we stopped the car to phone Nikki back and book our wedding because we loved it so much.
Coming closer to the wedding Patricia was our wedding coordinator and she was brilliant in our pre wedding meeting and after it as she kept in touch with us to keep us right and no email queries too much trouble to answer. Patricia was always on hand on our wedding day if we had any queries and she kept everything running on time so we didn’t need to worry.
The wedding day was perfect, the ballroom was exactly as we imagined and the wedding team had all of the decor pieces sitting perfect that we had left in with little to no instructions given. The garden was stunning for our photos and videos. The food was amazing, every single course was absolutely delicious and the staff were brilliant at serving each course very quickly to all of our tables. 
If you’re reading this and are considering booking Leighinmohr for your wedding we cannot recommend it more so just book the viewing, you will not be disappointed.

The best wedding venue ever!

Myself and my husband got married in Leighinmohr in July and couldn't recommend this hotel enough! Everything was fantastic from the staff to the food. All of our guests where commenting on how beautiful the hotel is and the food was phenomenal! Wedding experience

Thee best experience of our lives, they made our wedding unforgettable in every way. Nothing was too much and the hole process was easy! Adrian, Patricia and Nikki…fantastic plus their hole team.
